I had braces for a year in eigth grade. Thank goodness I got them taken out before high school started. Now I have to wear a retainer when I sleep, which isn't that bad.

My dentist wants me to have braces (I have slightly crooked teeth), but we can't afford it, so I have none.

Had braces for about year and a half then retainers for ~6 months, now nothing.
