I had braces for about 6 years, from 3rd grade till I was in 8th. Now I have a retainer, but I never wear it (well about every other month or so, I TRY to remember).... I was really hoping I could get a permainent retainer (so I wouldn't have to worry about remembering, and also so I coulnt lose it), by they wouldn't let me >__<.

I had braces for 2 1/2 years, and now I'm supposed to wear a retainer but I don't......too lazy, though sometimes I do when I go to bed just for the sake of not having my teeth come up again.

Used to have braces a long time ago O_O feels old Retainers are worse than braces, I lost mine a couple of times... My friend got hers thrown in the trash.

I had braces... now retainer... but I don't wear em anyways, lol. tbh, I liked how I looked before I had braces. Iunno if that makes sense to some of you guys, lol.

It's nothing for me, but I had retainers a long time ago. Would have had braces, but orthodontist decided to have a lot of baby teeth pulled out ahead of time because he figured we couldn't afford them/the insurance. Maybe a better poll would have been, "Have you ever had anything on your teeth?" so that there would be fewer nothings.

I have the same feeling. The difference before and after braces is negligible. My teeth are in a similar position as your as well, braces till two years ago and now retainers I never wear.

I know how you feel, I was totally against getting braces but my parents forced it on me. I loved my buck-tooth teeth, I could make the scariest/funniest faces with them. I miss my teeth. Everyone says my teeth look better now, but screw them, my teeth were kick-ass before I had braces.
