Its' not because that the sword was broken why he can't uncompress it...as i remember yoruichi did say that ichigo's shikai is a permanent zanpakuto that's why he can't uncompress it and tite still hasn't given the reason as to why there are permanent zanpakuto's around...i doubt its because of their reiatsu because aizen and yamamoto also have a huge amount of reiatsu

it was stated that you need to be able to communicate with your sword's personality / whatever the hell it is to be able to go to shikai, ichigo being sort of an exception because of his apparent overabundance of power and lack of the eyepatch thing that zaraki has. Zaraki cant hear his sword because when he was growing up and the whole part where he wasn't a captain he didnt even bother with trying and relied only on himself and nothing else. I believe he is going to have his first form at this point because after the fight with ichigo we get the small little part where he is laying there and trying to ask his sword for its name. Then he laughs that he can't do it and says forget it.

I think Byakuya-sama will come to aid Renji & Ishida (ah, imagine the rise in Renji's inferiority complex!). I think he planned on helping them from the beginning - in the end it was him, who hinted that they could leave SS after coming back, right? He'll probably come with Hitsugaya. And knowing that, Matsumoto will probably come, too.
It would be nice, if Ukitake would come to help Rukia. But, more probably she'll receive support from someone from 11 division - Yumichika or Ikkaku, they usually trail after Zaraki, no?

Indeed I really want to see her fight to, I picture her with a giant Shikai since she was strong enough to hold Zaraki and for for it incredibly fast. I would also like to see Unohana fight 😀

Also, she's one of the senior captians along with Ukitake, Shunsui and Aizen.. And she still suspected something about the dead body of Aizen even when Kyouka Suigetsu had been put on her..

Note also, that Aizen didn't attack her, when he fled Soul Society.. and Aizen even talked with a kind of respect against Unohana..

So I think it's safe to say that you shouldn't underestimate her..

Hi my fellow bleach fans all the theories posted here were interesting.
But has anyone considered the possibility that that the gotei 13 used ichigo & co. the same way aizen used them in the save rukia arc 😕

A let me explain as I see it the supreme commander denied ichigo permission to go to hueco mundo so thta he would sneak in as ryoka.Just like he did in SS to save rukia. Knowing his power the supreme commander than planned that after ichigo entered HM he would cause such a disturbance and possibly even weaken the espadas so they could attack and try to weaken aizen forces even more.

Well that's my theory but I trully would like to see zaraki's shikai 😀

It would be kind of wierd if the ones to save Uryuu and Renji were Byakuya and Kurotsuchi. Fighting to the death in Soul Society and saving each other in Hueco Mundo....
About time someone besides Rukia and Renji showed up as back up. And at least it's someone captain level. Hard to say how much Zaraki will do though, considering Hitsugaya nearly got killed when fighting an arrancar and not an espada.
