Honestly, this arc needs to end. Seriously. hahaha, but other than that I really liked the chapter this week! It sort of ended the whole "Espada says something shocking" "Captains gasp and get kicked around for a while" that has been going on for a while now. Its nice to see Hitsugaya get serious, and Omaeda made me laugh.

This chapter made Halibel look bad, is not Hitsugay the one that is looking good, is her rank as the third espada that doesn't fell right, heck I am sure Grimjaw could do a Krillion times better than Halibel and he is the Sexta Espada... taking into account that Kubo doesn't give him an elemental technique, you know just to give advantages to the ice kid and somehow avoid plotkai.
My complains:
Halibel is the third Espada and Should had killed/owned Hitsugaya in a single chapter.
Why? Even If Hitsugay is using new techniques pulled out of his ass nothing should had changed, he had a max of 6 days to train after his fight with Luppy, and his abillity to dodge Espada level attacks was LAUGHABLE.
Halibel is the FIRST and ONLY arrancar with an elemental release, a release that SOMEHOW gives an advantage to the ice kid, (don't care what Kubo/Halibel thinks all that water doesn't help her more than Hitsugay...)
Halibel SHOULDN'T even need/use Water based attacks, Grand Cero, Cero, Bala, Cero Obscuras, Sonido, etc ARE MUCH more than enough for Hitsugaya, and other captains that I won't mention.
In my Book Kubo sucks, because he seems to be unable to make any character look good in a fight... the way he makes the fights is to make the loser look bad not the winner look good... that is why Kubo fails.
Another thing is How Kubo managed to make Barragan look bad... I mean RUNNING after Omaeda? If I wanted retarded Humor, I would read Air Gear (and I do read it), Barragan just has to BREATH, YET somehow he is running after Omaeda... and WORSE, he is NOT catching up!!! WTF, Barragan UNRELEASED was MUCH MUCH more faster than Soi Fon, she couldn't even follow him, and now he is running after Omaeda, a King running after a piece of SHIT, so much for the Arrancar that seemed to have the biggest Pride.

Like so many others, I too cannot believe how Shitsugaya's power level goes up so much after being shredded by Aizen like it was nothing...
It was pretty dumb that Barragan didn't just "sonido" beside Omaeda and waste his ass, but I choose to believe that he was just drawn in the motion before doing so in that frame...
But hey at least Omaeda's power level is right where it should be! No bullshit power-ups, he just can't compete (just like the rest of the good guys should've gotten whooped by the Espada).
The most disappointing thing to expect in the coming weeks is the obvious regrowing of Soi-Fon's arm. I can hardly wait for Kubo to dig himself another plot hole! I bet Soi-Fon's bankai is going to be some healing shit for the sake of her "Yoruichi-sama".

Well, at least we don't have to pay every week for this...
Also, I noticed two things. On the bottom panel in the 1st page, Halibel has no mouth (Some scanlation groups tried to draw her a mouth, like Hueco Mundo for example. And on the left panel in the last page, Hitsugaya looks a bit like Matsumoto, but without the long eyelashes.
Also, there's a rumor on 2ch saying that Bleach might get canceled soon because even the editors are getting tired of Kubo dragging out the plot.

I must agree with most people here atm, though I hate to judge the situation too fast. But knowing what Tite have pulled earlier my hopes aren't exactly high... 😀 😎

what the hell is up with bleach. All we have is omaeda running for his life (how the heck could he escape the espada and soi fon couldn't? I though soi fon was supposed to be fastest character (okay, except for yoruichi)), and Hitsugaya and Halibel trash-talking each other. and Hitsugaya has a new attack.
Way too many shounen cliches. I love Hitsugaya, but seriously, I hate the "pull new attacks out of your ass" deal. and the lack of any forward momentum in the story >.<

i'm gonna hold off from saying Hitsugaya's new move is a plot hax for now since when you think about it this is the first time he's really fought aside from Luppi. (though he did miserably on that one). so for all we know he was probably capable of pulling something like this off. but i agree it's a little annoying how the Espada are being yanked around like this even the top 3... i think they could have made Halibel's fight a little better or gave her an agreeable opponent, but meh.....

He screams "Help Me." Soifon is finally back. The preparations for the Bankai is complete, the building is wrapped around with some kind of clothing.

Cuts to Hitsu versus Hallibel
Hitsu uses an imperial ice technique. Snow falls.
Hal: This is...?
Hitsu: This snow are the Heaven's tears. It mourns your grave.
He asks her name. Hallibel's full name is Tia Hallibel.
Hitsu: A fitting name.
Hallibel tries to melt down the snow with her Hirevendo, but ice flowers bloom all over her body. Ice lotus flowers engulf her body in a giant crystal. She falls to the ground, dead.
Hitsugaya looks at Stark and wonders. His Bankai is out of petals and he exits Bankai mode. He senses something and turns around.
He dodges an attack, but a tear-shaped wave manages to cut off his hand. Hallibel is standing unharmed.
Hal: I didn't miss this time.
Hitsu: What?!
Hal: I am the Espada of Sacrifice. My power are 'tears'. Your 'Heaven' does not exist.
Hitsugaya looks in shock. Halli rises her sword.
'Your tears will make a good sacrifice.'
Back to Barragan and Omaeda
He screams "Help me~!" Almost caught, but avoids death. Soifon is finally back. The building is wrapped around with some kind of clothing.
She whispers, "Bankai".

It's a sad day when I'm looking forward Bleach more than Naruto.
This whole Halibel/Hitsugaya fight is getting real drawn out now. I wish Kubo would just switch to one of the other 4 fights and focus of them for a few weeks instead.
And I'm glad we're about to see Soi Fon's bankai, but I just don't like that we have to wait ANOTHER week to see it. I swear, if those people on /a/ were right in guessing what her bankai looks like and does, I'm going to a mental institution. 🤣

Really? The fights are still going on? Really? Speed it up Kubo! I just want Halibel or Hitsugaya to die. Just one of them has to die. And seeing as though Soi Fon just pulled out her bankai we are probably going to have another year pass before she manages to kill Barragan. Bleach has been a great series for a long time, but lately its been killing me...I can't really say that I'm excited anymore, seeing as though the fights are like pendulums.(Which aren't the most interesting things in the world) Um, anyways, thanks for the spoilers. And Hitsugaya's technique would have been interesting had it actually done something.
