I know I had another thread here, but I want to ask for something different on this one.

I'm looking for a manga where the Lead-character's main motivation is revenge, but not for others; For himself, for his honour and pride.
I want a main character filled with hate, that use that hate to propel him toward his goal.

Good example of what i want.

Shin Angyo Onshi: personnal revenge that comes into a bigger a picture i would say. Main character propelled by hate, sure, but keeps "lucidity" and is extremely cunning

This is probably my favorite manga/manhwa of all times so I am clearly not objective describing it.
Just see for yourself, if your are looking for great art, complex character development and a (very) dark and gripping storyline, here you go.

No need to describe it, It's one of my favourites too. I just love it from begging to end.

I'm adding it to a list of manga that I had read already on the first post, but thanks for posting (and one i like so much too)

Is a female lead ok? if so Silver (FUJITA Kazuko) should work pretty well. She's pretty pathetic in the beginning, but she gets her vengeance 🙂

Choukakou is even better. The main lead is a badass and super manipulative. She's filled with hatred but she always keeps her head. This isn't completed yet though.

Shingeki no Kyojin's main male lead is out for pure vengeance as well.

The main character never does anything, seriously, I'm up to date with the Manga and after all this years only while being unconscious was he useful.
Haikyo Circle
Seems interesting but also seems to be dropped by the scanlators.

Giniro no Kami no Arisa. Comparing it to your examples, it's only one volume though (plus, it's old...). Not sure if you mind that. And if you have nothing against HWANG Mi-Ri, then Love SOS also might work. (The revenge-plot gets kind of lost in the middle of all the other drama happening though. 😀 )

But she DOES get her revenge in the second to last volume.
