Nope, and I certainly don't plan to. The author has done a wonderful job of mixing things up. She's fleshing out more of the outside world, the politics of the vampire/hunter world. She's done something most authors wouldn't dare - Make a drastic personality change in her main character. She's made the manga less about, Who gets with Yuuki, and added another dimension to the story.

No. A lot of the readers may find it boring with the pace and the sudden change plot wise, but even to this day, I still love the series. The present mystery and foreshadowing makes it that much more interesting. 😀

... Yes.

I think it should have ended at the end of the school arc. But, if the author wants to continue, that's fine. I just don't want to read it.

My thoughts exactly, though i think i'll be eventually catching up with it if i have nothing else to read, but for now I've dropped it.

Yeah.
If I hear whisperings of interesting events, I'll read them, I guess.
But I'm no longer at all up to date.

Dropped it a loooong time ago. How many times can you go through a chapter that resembled almost exactly the chapter before. It's getting very draggy. It would've been a great read if maybe it'd ended at 7/8 volumes. I might even finish it if it ends now. lol.
It was great.

Dropped this more than a year ago when everything started to get too serious... I was very disappointed with it... This used to be my favorite manga... 😢

Same here.
However, I collect the mangas anyway, I started to collect them years ago and I dislike to have incomplete collections.
The story changed a lot and turns in a sea of confusion for Yuki and that put in my nerves.
I used to like Matsuri Hino's mangas, but what is she thinking on now?
Is sadly, because the main story was so great, but now it only can boring me now...

No but with these recent chapters I'm close.
It's gotten boring and annoying.
If I don't see a future for Yuki and Zero then I'm dropping it........furiously.

No, but not an avid fan of it either. I don't plan on dropping it, it has gotten pretty boring, so I just skim through the chapters now.

not really.
I'm waiting til it finishes to read because i'm a little disappointed in the way its draggin.
Like hino doesn't want to choose a couple yet. I hope she's not listenin to the fans because that whats always screws up the artist.

Heh...nope and I won't; I'm up to date with this tragic romance themed story and I'm still fairly interested since I have theories of how I think the ending might go and I'm interesting to see Zero and Yuki confront each other again when they decide who kills who.

I think it's bullshit to drop something just since you don't get your favorite pairing.
I'm not dying to see either pairing at the end as much as I'm hoping to see the two love interests challenge each other to a death duel if Yuki for some reason dies before either of them. I've been itching to see how if Zero would last against Kaname at full power or vice versa. ^_^

I never drop a series. Ever. And I will not drop Vampire Knight because it is my all time favorite. I don't know why a lot of people are saying it gets boring. You have to keep reading! It gets better!

I try not to drop a series that I've started, but I've been thinking that maybe I should. From what I can see, the entire plot has come to a standstill. Nothing's moving, and the pace is just dragging. Even the little interactions between Zero and Yuki (I'm a Kaname fan, btw) has become rather bland. Like someone said before, the entire atmosphere has become just suffocating. Too many speech bubbles that don't have anything really important in them, so I just skim nowadays.

When it ends, if I've dropped it before then, maybe I'll come back and pick it up.
