I don't have any plans on dropping the manga unless it becomes uneventful to the point I might fall asleep while reading it (it's happened), or if Zero dies or something. No, wait, if Zero dies, I might end up burning the computer in utter disappointment. I have high hopes for a happy ending for Zero.
I actually enjoyed the story from the first chapter up to 10 or so chapters ago. The chapters after that have me a little confused, but I'm just trying to drag past that. The recent chapters have me extremely disappointed with what happened between the protagonists. Miss Hino better make a good comeback with the next chapter. As for the most recent chapter, with Kain and Ruca, it was sort of a nice break from the frustration the chapters prior to it has given me. I always knew Kain had a thing for Ruca 😀

I want to. Its taking too long for the story to develop and I just want to move on and return to it when the whole thing is completed. 😔

Like all the works by this author, it starts out good, but then it just starts to drag on. And now she has written herself into a corner that will end is a very sappy, unbelievable and abrupt ending.
Honestly I liked the series before the main character turned into a vamp. after that point it has stunk and all the characters have become distorted. I don't like it now, I even stopped reading it because of how annoying it got. that's not to say that I didn't give it a try. sorry i'm just drowning on.
Who knew that PWM Circuits could also be butterflies.
And if you know what that is I give you props XD

I dropped it at chapter 47 (a bit too far into it...)
There were a few chapters there where I was like "did I skip something?" and had no idea what was going on. I might end up rereading it when it's done with but I'm afraid of the possible dissapointment? Or has it already happened? I wouldn't know. 😕
I'm a Zero fan and the whole triangle thing was also another reason to drop. It really dragged and I only hung on because of Zero's character.
The chapter where I left off was really upsetting TT_TT and so I just kicked the manga to death and walked away.

I don't plan on dropping the series, I wont actually. VK is the like the best shoujo manga that I've read. It's not your average shoujo, well, at first it does start out like that, but it changes. Specially with like the last 10+ chapters things have gotten really confusing <---I haven't gotten confused though. I've liked the recent chapters, they're flashbacks, but you learn of the small things you didn't know before. An example would be chap.48, it wasn't told from Yuuki's POV, but instead Kain's POV. That way we actually learned like what happened that night that Kaname drank Ruka's blood.
It has some cliches, but a lot of the stuff is original. Like it has: incest, cannibalism, etc.
Also, another reason that I read the series is because of Zero 😃 The past couple of chapters heave been so sad for him, he's in genocide mode!! And it looks like he's keeping true to his promise of killing all the purebloods...
at then end of chapter 49, yes the new chapter!, it reveals a bit of that actually the end of the chapter. It also does a time skip of 1 year.
come to http://sagakure.livejournal.com/324244.html for a bit of spoilers
EDIT: oh, how naive I was not that long ago D:
I'm ashamed that I actually thought this was that amazing! After that chapter 49, shit went downhill 😔

I keep going along with it but im liking it less and less =/
things have gotten confusing and this whole "one year later" thing that happened in the just released chapter (49), it doesn't feel quite right =/
and i think the idea of both Zero's and Yuuki's originally personalities both being butchered/twisted leaves a tainted taste to the story =(
i will put it on hold soon if it doesnt straighten things out soon, and then return to it once it is finished

I actually love how the plot is heading right now 😎
I'm DYING to know what happens next!! And I love how the character development in the recent chapters..so damn better than their old selves in the earlier volumes! __
No matter how 'overrated' ppl say bout this, it's still one of the best shoujo I've ever read. (with the whole 'fanservice' and cliches put aside)

I think I might be soon...
like when she found out she was a vamp too, I was like oh cool. But then I just stopped reading it.
I found myself not really reading the chapters, just skimming thoughso I might just drop it...

I don't think so. I really liked the beginning, so even though the middle was confusing and I was kind of skimming through it, I held out hope that it would get better. And it pretty much has. I like the new turn in the story, how it isn't just a love triangle anymore.
I agree with a lot of what Hermit-Chan says, but I'm a bit too lazy to quote her other posts. 😀
Anyway, I'm definitely not dropping it!

Even though I have already started to not even care what happens, I have not dropped this series. I think in my head whenever I read a new chapter, "You just have to endure until the end". I read it only because I'm waiting for the end.
Hope that makes sense XD
"to the world you may be one person,
but to one person you may be the world."
-unknown
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so" (from Hamlet, Wm. Shakespeare; Act II, scene ii)
(Even though the quote above is from Hamlet, I first saw it in a Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer on YouTube ^o^)
honestly,i have.but i will pick it up once the story becomes more to my liking.
which is probably soon.

There was a short while (namely after Yuuki and Kaname left, splitting up the main three characters; Yuuki, Kaname and Zero) that I thought about dropping the series. It was going at an agonizingly slow pace --- I feel sorry for the Japanese now that I know how awful it is to wait every single month for only one chapter! ONE CHAPTER!!
But, thankfully, with the latest chapter (that just came out today!), it finally looks like everything is picking back up again! It's quite obvious that the trio are going to be in one another's business once again, so I'm happy to keep reading and see where everything goes.

I did. It became so god awfully boring and lacking in plot development that I had to. At some point the whole thing just went downhill.. So I'd rather not waste my time with it. Pity, it was one of the very, very few shoujo I liked.
the tigers have found me
and I do not care.

Not as of yet -the type of person who must read [whether it be novels or manga] through to the end, even if the plot line, characters, etc, are terrible, I mean, how do you think I got through
Twilight? XD (I'm sorry Twifans, I had to, I just had to XD shot)-
But if it doesn't pick up the speed soon, then I may for a little while, but it depends really, the last page of the just released chapter was intriguing, in my opinion, anyways.
