I'd definitely enjoy dating someone who shared a love for anime with me. Except, he/she would have to enjoy more than just one anime. I don't really like when a person is hooked on one thing. Gotta explore different things.
That depends on how much of an otaku the girl would be... I know of some freakishly scary ones but that is subject to the induvidual, not the label otaku.

Well, I'm happily married so at the moment that seems like a bad idea 🙂
However, if I wasn't in a relationship, then I don't see a problem with dating an otaku as long as we could have a healthy relationship.

I voted maybe.
I would be disinclined to date someone who called himself an "otaku" because that just sounds... too obsessive (sorry, no insult meant to all you self-proclaimed otaku reading this?). But it would be nice to date someone who shared my interest in manga, as well as my "non-otaku" interests.

Married and your nick is "lowlife"?
lol
Does your wife (or husband) know you read manga? Does she/he tried some?
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

As long as he doesn't tease me for reading/watching, I don't care. Because even if he was an otaku, chances of him reading/watching the same stuff I do is pretty small, since I stick to shoujo and josei.

Depends on the person. I sure ain't gonna go out with some perverted otaku that spends his days reading hentai and playing eroge games. -_-;;

Yes I would but I don't dream about it.
Since the fact that I even contemplate dating this said person means I already pass the maybe stage. I would only get a bit bother if this person spends most/all money on manga/anime hobbies. It's not good to not save some money for rainy day. But then again, if this person is really bad with money, we wouldn't start dating in the first place.

Yeah, I would not mind dating an otaku as long as she had some other interests that involved leaving the computer. Oh and she can't like yaoi too much.....haha jk. Really it all depends on the person. As long as we were compatible I wouldn't mind if the person I was dating was otaku or not.

I'd like to date an otaku girl. As long as she wasn't like such a crazy otaku that she preferred manga/anime characters over me I wouldn't mind much of what she did. Since I can be pretty otaku-ish myself.

I just have finished a 4 years relationship and even talking about Love or Dating can make me feel sick. 😐 but who knows what will happens when I can get over my broken heart and pull myself together once again, maybe I date an Otaku guy, as long as he treats me like a lady and shares his manga's with me! 😛

Lol. All I can say is that this poll is not for me. XD
I haven't dated in my whole existence nor will date in the future...so yeah. .__.
But if I was someone else, I might date a person who's not an otaku, it's easier for conflicts to create themselves, like who's the bigger otaku out of the two of us. XD Yeah, so I'd like to be the LONER OTAKU. <3

Honestly, it would entirely depend on the person. I wouldn't mind dating a guy who likes manga and watches a little anime. But I have to say that in my experience guys who purposefully define themselves as "otaku" are 100% of the time never my type. So I went with "no". 😐
