Out of all of those bands, the only two that i dig are mudvayne and bullet for my valentine, mostly cuz they're more metalcore.

I thought Drowning pool's first album with the original singer was great, mudvanye is good, and i like spineshank also, shame they broke up, Jonny Santos' new band sucks imo.

does anyone know some good bluesy metal? Like DOWN, COC, or Crowbar?

also, if anyone gets a chance to pick up any of the resident evil OSTS for the games, do it at all costs.

Do you mean to imply that rap sucks? Because Im pretty darn sure that Linkin Park (at least their first album) definitely qualifies as rapcore, which basically means its a fusion of Rap and Metal (some songs are a little bit more toward the rock side rather than the metal though, especially in Meteora). They also released two albums (Reanimated, and Collision Course) which feature an even greater rap influence than in Hybrid theory.

Also Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, is a rap artist in his own right.

And just to let you know, not all rap is about the drugs, guns, and b**ches. If you do like Linkin Park (and since you recommend them I assume you do), I would definitely recommend you to check out Fort Minor, which is a hip-hop oriented project headed by Mike Shinoda.

Long shot but does anyone here know some good crust bands 😕

there are probally plenty of material from every genre that has violence, sex, and drugs and there are plenty of every genre dat isnt. and i can't stress enuff;
anthrax and public enemy bring the noise. give dat a listen
