I think Bleach needs the following things.
1: Yoruichi X Soi Fon to be canonized
2: Tatsuki X Orihime to be canonized
3: someone to die; I vote Hitsugaya
4: less time focused on Ichigo
5: more time spent focused on Rangiku and adult Nell

What Bleach needs is fast-pacedness. Or at least cram lots of content into one chapter, like in the beginning chapters, which were a lot of fun and kind of resembled One Piece in a way!
