Yandere FTW

OK, out of all the manga I've read and anime I've watched, the one character archetype I've rarely ran into is Yandere. The only times I ran into one was School Days and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
So give me some manga where there are Yandere in there, preferably as a main character, but as long as there's one in there, then it's alright.
Bonus points and free internets to people who give manga and anime examples.

For the sane people I am insane, for me the sane people are insane!
Unfortunately, there are very few Yandere around in comparison against their Tsundere counterparts. Miyako Miyazaki (the one on the cover) of Bamboo Blade kind of fits the bill (anime more recommended).

Did you look up the examples in wikipedia? I think they've all been mentioned here at this point anyway.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

Seconded, great anime (more so than the manga).
