We, the real fans love anime because it is edgy, appeals to the male fantasy and it is not afraid to pull heinous shit, unlike the many MANY hero's journey woke stories of today. Cope harder smearers.

Quite frankly the best part about Mirai Nikki was all of the nostalgia you get from reading it, all of the tropes it uses and even having a "dere" as a main character is a good throwback of how things used to be in anime/manga more than 10 years ago, but with that being said this is definitely a manga where the premise is waaaay better than the plot, most characters are pretty shallow and the main character has to be one of the most annoying characters of all time, the action is just silly, like, are we really gonna pretend katanas can cut bodies like butter?.

Tldr, the history, art and character are pretty mediocre but is a fun throwback for anyone who was around in the early 2010's

So I'm yeah before you read just know there's murder, characters you end up liking may die. I like the anime more but only because this manga make the characters look younger than what they actually are the story has clique but clique doesn't mean not interesting. The anime had tons of memes and became more popular and recognized after yandere simulator and made yanderes very popular.
Unfortunately you won't find yanderes as well written as Yuno gasai, that's why she's yandere queen.
The manga was made in 2006 and the anime around 2012 which is a big deal because Things like iPhone came out shortly after.
Flip phones fit this series better though especially if you understand the time period. Besides the psycho and mystery you'll find this story is one of a kind and probably remind you of Danganronpa only nobody really cares who died.
The romance is pretty good, or deep enough . It's not ideal but it's understandable how it might happen if you consider the tragic parts and mental issues.

I know this is getting annoying but for a better feel of the story and adventure experience watch the anime. I do not recommend the manga for it is not as exciting and if you read this first instead you'll ruin your experience for the anime only a little bit. The anime has better directing and knows how to set tension or mood and excitement.

Back when I read this I was not in a good state of mind, my bipolarity started showing and I did not know how to cope with it yet, so when I read Mirai Nikki I was in tune to their twisted thinking and thought that this was a masterpiece, albeit with an unsatisfying ending.
Looking back on it now with a healthier mind and approach, it might have been too twisted, as other comments have said, a lot of things didn't make sense/ were unnecessary. The main MC was lacking in many ways and could've been replaced with anyone. At the very least he was a tool that mobilized the actions of the other characters.
Ending is still just weird and did not resolve anything majorly.

I still have been seeing this manga waste of time, as I said above if you have time to kill and if you want to see bad writing read it you will be satisfied.

I use to have rated it with an 8/9 but over time I have already read it thrice and the story is sill good, it really resisted the pass of time .

I like how the characters constantly develop under these new extreme circumstances ,how all of them end up being selfish at some point as they struggle to survive. It might be your usual "unavoidable destiny " and "love" themes mixed with lots of action .But the story is well executed with a bittersweet ending .

I take it as if he knew that interfering with the new universe would be doing the same Yuno did and in order to create the 'Yuno he likes' everything would have to repeat itself (This wouldn't change the fact that the actual her is no more and the new Yuno would like would be his alternate self)

After some time the author made an alternate "happy ending" .

Honestly I don't even know why I read it. I wish I could take back all that time I spent reading it. I mean sure it had it's amazing moments but what I was annoyed about was

On the whole, it was sad and good and had lots of potential. LOTS. But all of that was wasted.

You can go ahead and read this manga if you like eccentric characters, useless explanations and whole lot of killing. But be warned, it's a crazy story about crazy people.

He's my favorite character. And I really like a lot of the other characters too. But i didn't really like either of the main ones. Yuno was too scary for me and the other boy was.... eh.

I love the story because Yuno is the reason why Mirai Nikki is created......
I hate Yukiteru Amano cuz' he's not just ugly as if he possessed a body of a 12 yr old child....I REALLY LOOK DOWN ON HIM! WHY DID YUNO FALL IN LOVE HIM .Yuno is a blind bat!! I'm giving it a 9. I don't really have any type of review other then I read this manga at least 3 times and followed it from the very beginning. I have to say for some reason I do love it a lot. It's not even the best manga out there but I can't seem to give it an 8 and I feel like if I give it a 10 I would be giving it a lot more credit than what it's worth. I recommend it to anyone
