Manga like Cromartie means:

• should have realistic art (but not neccesary)
• running gags
• humouristic disputes about everyday problems or picking on certain culture/subculture/subjects
• not ecchi (unless its wise amounts and for the humour bits)
• the most important thing is, it has to be purely comedy (i.e. not a shonen battle manga with comedy)

Manga like Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru means:  
- comedy  
- martial arts  
- likeable characters  
- "evil" good guys (see: Pedro)

Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoiyo!! Masaru-san reminds me a lot of cromartie, but the art is not....exactly...realistic (then again, it IS a manga)
def all the gags/comedy though

GTO is closest to Cromate Highschool in terms of comedy moments. It's a little strange in its comedy since it makes the normal everyday trouble, turn it into really really big trouble and the main character attempt to solve it in a completely different way.

Hajime no Ippo is martial arts (if you consider boxing as a martial arts form) with very good (and dirty) comedy. It's part sport, part fighting with a mix of odd comedy in between. This is the one manga that made me fell out of my chair laughing with the line "Don't cheer him on, it's cruel".

Azumanga Daioh is a gag manga/anime. I watched most of the anime and it was hilarious. Don't have it anymore or I would have watched all of it.

Zippy Ziggy is a hilarious comedy, one mishap leading to another.

Kenichi is a martial arts one with comedy throughout. Not sure what you mean by 'evil' good guy, though. The fanservice gets annoyingly frequent too.

I'm gonna say High school girls for the first.

Cromartie: Gintama, Gyagu Manga Biyori, Makuhari, Idejuu!

Karate: All-Rounder Meguru, Holyland, and whenever someone asks for MA manga I'll recommend Kenji whether that's what you're looking for or not—it's great

Kenka Shoubai fits for both.

The Breaker is the manhwa i recommend for the second part 😃 ......It is also my fav at the time....
and GTO 😃 for the first description .. it involves problems which are faced by japnese students .........it contains all the elements you have mentioned 😮

GTO: maybe somewhere in distant future once a decent scanlation appears

Kenka Shoubai: started following it, its good
High school girls: it doesnt really hit me
Hajime no Ippo: box is a big no-no for me

I need to set one thing straight, for cromartie-a likes I want some not-trying-to-be-funny humour. Like to what would to an outsider a random page of the manga look like really serious stuff (unless he looks on the punchline page).
EDIT: compare cromartie with Kachou Baka Ichidachi and you'll know what i mean
