all i can say is OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! 😃 and hinata, just makes mouth water thinking how she will play a role in the upcoming chapters (sadly thinking about it kishi probably wont use her as much as would like but i can still hope tho lol). tobi is in no way gonna be challenged not even if they all atacked him at once, it has been aluded to that tobi is all powerful so i cant see how konoha can be victorious without some new twist.

Pein's not the strongest, we all know the most obvious bad guy is never the strongest bad guy. Someone else (Toby) will pop up behind him (Pein) when he's about to be killed and voila, the true strongest bad guy appears. Then it repeats until one of the good guys turn into the bad guy (sasuke) and then the final show down (naruto vs sasuke) ends in a way that probably won't satisfy anyone (sasuke lives, naruto hokage).

It'd be so screwed up if that happens...

I think toby just used his sharigan and did an illusion of himself to by time so they dont stop the other fights. that was my guess at least. otherwise he is gonna say something earth shattering to naruto and the group to mess with them.

I agree with this part but since Naruto seems to slowly come to an end I don't think there will be another bad guy.Also I don't think Sasuke will be made into a real bad guy since Itachi was presented as such at first but we all know he is actually a good guy by now...

also it doesn't really looks like Sasuke will fight Naruto sometime soon, wonder if they'll fight at all...

I think Sasuke is gonna end up joining Itachi, or somehow carry on his goal in some way shape or form... Simply because Itachi's had plenty of chances to kill Sasuke, but continually chooses to let him live... and now that he feels Sasuke is strong enough, he will tell Sasuke his true goal and try to manipulate him further...

I think that Itachi will tell Sasuke his goal, Sasuke will consider it, but will still fight Itachi,because he's a cold mamajama now, 🤣 and for all the pain Itachi has put him through...

Don't say that Tobi is stronger than Pain, as a fact.. T.T I mean, that's just assuming on your part.. Pain never acknowledges Tobi as his leader, plus Konan said that Pain has never lost a battle.. Which means that Tobi didn't beat him so that he become his subordinate..

And also, Tobi said that [b]our[/b] goals will be realised, which means not only his.. That means that Pain and Tobi have seperate goals, but they're going to work together to obtain that goal faster..

Last thing is that Pain has a God Complex, if you haven't realized yet.. So he would never let anyone above him.. And if Tobi indeed is above him, then that God complex would be destroyed, since he knows that he isn't the strongest anymore..

I just think that Pain views Tobi as a "fellow-God"..

Though I could be of course wrong..

If that was so, Konan wouldn't have said the sentence at all.. She would just say that Pain is capable enough of catching Naruto.. Also Konan wasn't particularly impressed/afraid by Tobi.. Because she's under the "protective wing" of Pain..

And why would he lead him on..? o.O He could have just beaten his scrawny ass, that would make no sense at all..

Well, retreating equals loss.. Pain would never retreat.. I know that I shouldn't view what Konan said as the absolute truth.. And I don't.. But I'm just pointing it out..

Edit: I just re-read the chapter, and Tobi said that it was true that Pain never lost a battle.. 🤣 This means that Tobi never fought against Pain.. And if he has, Pain has clearly not lost..

First of all, Sasuke will have no intention to carry out what Itachi wants. You can see while he was training with Orochimaru that he still holds Konoha close to him, his revenge was just closer.

And as for Tobi - I love him! I want to see him cremed. But if he were Obito, Kakashi would stop the fight immediately and we'll see another flashback.

As for Jiraiya and Pein, who knows?

Awesome chapter..I'm reading One Piece and Naruto every week and while One Piece continues to make me smile while also making me roll my eyes with how much punishment the characters take only to get back up (can we say X-men or Bleach) Naruto truly has me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to see what happens with the characters--I am loving the Jiraiya battle and ofcourse fear that within next chapter or two it's going to end grizzly likewise, this arc has amped up with naruto vs. tobi and the kisame v suigestsu (sic?) fight. This should all be great!

What about the whole thing with Nagato being the original one with the Rinnegan yet he is not among the 6 that make up Pain. (Jiraya states that none of them resemble Nagato)

I think there are 3 possible reasons for this. The first is that Pain doesnt truly have the Rinnegan and Nagato the true owner is somewhere else. The second is that Nagato can split himself into 6 bodies that each posess 1 of the 6 types of chakra. The third is that Nagato can give the power of the Rinnegan to those he chooses (dead people who make up 1 of the 6 paths could be made with the jutsu that was used to duplicate Itachi and Kisame).

Personally I think that the first two are the most likely, and there may be more reasons but thats all I can think of.

Either way this is the best chapter in a while.
