So, it takes about 2+ months before a chapter of this awesome manga is released and I can't keep quiet any longer. I need to read more manga like this. Similar in perhaps story/location/culture etc. anything. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Moved to looking for section.
For anyone wondering, the manga he/she's talking about is Otoyomegatari

I would like such a manga as well. As things are I think your best bet would be Emma by the same mangaka.

Emma was my first thought as well, although I didn't know that it was by the same mangaka.
You might wanna give Historie a try. It doesn't really have much romance but it's similar in that it portrays a time period not often seen in manga relatively realistically. Plus it's also just an extremely solid manga in general so it has that going for it.

Cinderella Fella it is about this guy who is to be a ceo for a big company and it is really funny
Jack Frost it is about an insane guy and a strange girl in an isolated school and it has gang-like districts that are fighting
K.O. Sen it is a sport/martial art series that is really funny
and anymore you want . just look at my reading list

I'm not really sure how any of those are even remotely similar to Otoyomegatari.

Maybe the first story in Yama ni Sumu Kami
