Bishounen doesn't have to look like a woman, that would be just a feminine looking guy. Not to mention that not all women are beautiful or even pretty, so looking like a girl doesn't make a guy pretty by default.
Bishounen is a beautiful guy who has a somewhat ambivalent, androgynous look. Check out male models, not "normal" ordinary ones but really high-paid glamorous ones, they have fine features, they are rather slender, yet they aren't 100% interchangeable with girl models.
Though I guess in the Western culture that cultivated the "woman is pretty while man is rough" idea for such a long time, anything that doesn't look like a quarterback counts as either nerdy or girly. XD

I don't have pictures at the moment, but I like Park Jung Min, Gabriel Aubry, Gackt, Lee Kiseop, Kamjio from Versailles Japan (or something like that...) and the ulzzang Yuhamin.
