The mangaka also draws yaoi, but this particular title isn't yaoi. Technically it's shoujo. From what I've seen of the raws, you should be able to read on without any worries.

brid is right, it's not yaoi. Although it's shoujo, there are some light shounen-ai jokes here and there.

Only like a light hint of shounen-ai but I dont remember there's yaoi in it. 😀 Its pretty interesting though.
