This poll was suggested by linnil, but I added a lot more options. However, some of you will complain your preferred option isn't there...but too bad. I can't please everyone. You'll notice that most of the endings are basically shounen stuff, but I couldn't think of anything else in 5 minutes of time.
If you guys like a mixture of stuff, tell us what that mix is!

Edit: Took out the "Mixture of endings" option since everyone would probably vote for that one...and that wouldn't be very conclusive now, would it?

You can discuss this poll on our forums here:
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=11702

And if you got any interesting poll ideas, please submit them here:
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Do you work in scanlations?
Choices:
Yes, and I love it - votes: 837 (9.3%)
Yes, and I hate my life - votes: 236 (2.6%)
No, but I'd like to - votes: 4430 (49.3%)
No, and I don't want to - votes: 2288 (25.5%)
I used to, but not anymore - votes: 760 (8.5%)
I'm just here to hand out C&Ds - votes: 436 (4.9%)
There were 8987 total votes.
The poll ended: May 2nd 2009

If you scanlate and like it, that's great! Keep on going! If you scanlate and hate your life, I feel sorry for you. If you currently don't scanlate and don't want to, I respect that decision, as it eats up a lot of time. If you used to but anymore, I hope you're moving onto better things! If you're here for the C&D...I hope you're joking... And finally (out of order), if you currently don't scanlate but would like to, we have a [sitelink=topics.php?fid=3974]Recruitment Forum[/sitelink] where tons of groups want new people like you! And hopefully you'll gain that experience that everyone loves...

I did not intend to link to this manga, it should be an X in square brackets.

Coherent is good. I hate it when they rush things and don't give you closure, ie. Mx0.
Romance is good too. Even though, many times I hate to see a story end, seeing they guy get the girl or whatever. Ai Yori Aoshi had a good end, as well as Karin and I"s.
I like everyone's happy as well, but I like original endings the most. Bitter Virgin and AI Ren were sad, but were ended well enough that you felt it was time to let it rest.
Of course, every time one of my favorites ends, I feel listless and sad that it's over.

I personally don't care how a series ends. It could be the good guys saving the world, it could be the protagonist dying in a heroic attempt at whatever. It could be whatever. I just want it to be good ending, not to make an anticlimactic ending.

If it's a romance, then I prefer for there to be a steady relationship with a promising and/or conclusive ending. The other genres are fine as long as there is a reasonable ending to them.

anyone and everyone who voted for "abrupt, inconclusive ending" should have their right to vote rescinded.
