I read anything as long as its not yaoi/shouen-ai, yuri/shoujo-ai, and hentai.
I'll read anything as long as the title catches my attention, and as long as the first chapter is interesting.

I would read anything that interests me besides yaoi/shounen ai, yuri/shoujo ai, hentai and horror.

I'm a guy and I read almost all Shoujo and Josei, all the Shounen manga I read tends to bore me... but maybe I'm just not reading the right Shounen >_<; I also read a TON of Shounen-ai, but I'll read pretty much anything that intrigues me n_n;

Female.
I really just pick what I like, from any genre.

It's about the quality of the story, and I don't really care about the label.

I read anything that catches my eye or sounds good or even looks good. Hell even I read a frickin yaoi the plot of it was good though 😕 😲 hard to find any manga without the cliche's anymore.

Female; Used to mainly read shoujo/josei... But got tired of the same storyline. That and the fact that my group does mostly shounen, so now I read mainly shounen. Follow basically all of JUMP, and I read TWOGK, Fairy Tail, Negima, Conan. Still love Skip Beat though. Only shoujo I still read.

I mostly read shoujo/josei, but I also really like seinen. I tend to avoid typical shounen - most are boring to me. Two of my very favorites series are shounen, though: ARIA and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

I read any demographic.

Nowadays:

  • If it's shoujo/josei + romance, I won't read.
  • If it's shoujo/josei but not romance, I will see...
  • If it's shounen/seinen + harem/ecchi/martial arts/comedy, I won't read.

Anything else - depends on whether the art style is acceptable to me and the story sounds interesting.

Guy, however I have never read a shoujo/josei manga. I usually read shounen/seinen ecchi mangas and sometimes w/o the ecchi but its usually adult/mature.

For the guys, what's it like reading a shoujo/josei? Does it feel awkward feeling that it's "for women" or does it still have the same effect as drama in a seinen/drama?
