I will start by saying that I don't want to argue with you and that I'm just trying to express my opinion.

I don't think age is a justification for that kind of behaviour. I'm 21 and I consider myself still young. Love and sex are in my mind too, but I don't go around pairing characters randomly, without a basis. I used to read ONLY romantic manga when I was 16-17 and I started getting more and more interested in other themes and genres when I was 18, so I get what you mean when you say that young people are mostly interested in love stories, but still, there is a difference between being interested in love stories and fantasizing over "fanon pairings", "waifus" and "hausbandos".
As I have already said, I respect other people's views and desires and I would never tell anyone they should STOP doing what they want. I don't want to stigmatize anyone, I just think this is getting out of hand and sometimes I worry about how some people might feel about this growing tendency (for instance, how homosexual people feel about this increasing gay fetish in yaoi manga) or if that tendency is going to be detrimental in the future somehow.
