I'm looking for manga / light novel series in which the main character has some disability (paraplegia, blindness, missing hand, etc etc) and eventually acquires some power that overcomes the disability, like due to a regenerative power, paraplegia gets cured oorrr the person becomes able to detect objects without sight or the person's new ability renders their previous disability ineffective under certain conditions and the like.

Example:
Helen Esp Helen is able to hear her dog speak despite being deaf, due to ESP.

Thanks for your time.

@StephKuran
Unfortunately I'd have to spend money (that isn't mine) to be able to read that story 🙁 . Looks interesting though.

If you have read the whole story, do you think you could give me an answer on that thread? I've kind of been waiting a while for one and I think you might be able to settle that thread xD

Teiden Shoujo to Hanemushi no Orchestra sort of fits. Sort of.

And Ichi has a blind protagonist, but she trains herself and gains power from that, rather than from a supernatural entity.
