A weirdly wholesome read

Even tho i just give it a 6/10 i still think everyone should give this manga. Seeing Helen adapt to her situation through the manga is really sweet and his relationship with her dog is both lovable and sad because even the dog knows that his time is limited. With that being said I'm kind of disappointed that the manga is not more focused on Helen's condition, it could've been fascinating and the best episodes are the ones where Helen's condition is on the front, but that's not the type of manga Akita Shoten likes to write. With all this things being considered you should give this manga a try because you can read it entirely in less than 2 hours and maybe for you the wholesome moments are enough to outshadow the flaws with the manga.

if you had read franken fran, you will understand how unpredictable the flow of the story will be. there are a lot of off kilter creepiness, but unlike full horror of franken fran, this have a dash of sweetness de to helen's happy personality.

it is a real shame this is so short. i can read this for 100chapters and more.

I enjoy series which inspire you to think about life. Reading mangas like Helen ESP is truly eye opening - you'll look at the world differently after getting to know Helen, and her happiness and spirit.

Worth reading

I gave it a 10 because the theme of the story is clearly laid out, without the author directly saying "the theme is..." through a character / narration. Everything in the story is made exactly in the way it should be, it depends on the reader to follow the story and to think about all of the characters involved, rather than having the reader just glance at it to understand it.

Well it's from author of Franken Fran. And it does look alot alike - bizzare situations, except more watered down and much less horrible. It's still interesting but main character here is more of an observer noticing supernatural around her rather than causing it with godless science. I doubt i'd be reading it if not for FF.

Helen ESP gave me gentle and warm feeling. It is a story about a pure-hearted girl who despite her disabilities found joy in life and simply goes around and, without even realizing it, makes lives of people she comes across happier.

Helen ESP is pretty amazing. It's like, sweet and fluffy at times, and the world is all sunshine and rainbows. And then at other times it's just creepy and the world is a dark, corrupt and unforgiving place.
