In the short term: Finish my first (amateur novelist's!) book within the next six or so months, and convince a publisher to buy it within another year.

In the long term, I'd like to end up an author. It's the honest to God truth: My life's goal is to become a worthy author. I've got prose, diction, spelling and grammar down; all that's left is getting...writing novels down--the hardest part, naturally.

(Watch for a sci-fi novel called "System Cheque" (and yes, that's some multivalent wordplay if there ever was). If I ever finish writing it, it'll be a fun, fun ride!)

Well right now I wish I could sleep I haven't been able to. I've tried laying down on my bed and closing my eyes but that didn't work.

I guess all I want is that when I'll be old I won't have any regrets and that I'll be damn proud of the life and of the things I did. So actually it doesn't really matter as long as I won't regret anything 😀 But that's pretty vague and, short of asking my future self, that's pretty impossible to find out -___-''

So then my goal would be to work in the gaming industry (well, that'll be tough...), find a non-desperate bf and just do something with my life. Oh well~...easier said than done <_<.
As for short-term goals, I'd go with not failing physics class. 😔

I want to become an animator and create movies like FFVII:AC. I want the movies to be as pleasing to the eyes as FFVII:AC and for them to be more mature. I don't want to be animating penguins but I'll probably end up doing that if I end up becoming an animator. Getting a job as an animator is very difficult.

To live beyond 30 and have a good job with it.

Get a decent job and live a simple/comfortable life...

Um.... graduate college, get a job that pays well enough that I won't have to live in a ghetto, and get more upper-body strength.

As for romance, I can't really share myself with someone else enough that it would be a satisfying relationship. The woes of a narcissist. ]:

Edit: If someone else says that getting a girlfriend is a goal, I'm gonna puke. It's not that hard to make girls like you. Take some pride in your appearance, avoid overly geeky topics like D&D and lolicon, and be humorous. See?

Oh, and another short-term goal for me is to get to my towering to-read list (like, real books). Reading manga has made me so lazy literature-wise.

My first goal would be to graduate from college as soon as possible and try to get a good job. Or, actually, with the way economy is going here in Italy, just getting ANY job would be something close to a miracle.

Other than that, well, I would like to find some romance - and yes, I know it's not hard to get a boyfriend, but, well, it's probably because I'm too picky, but I find very difficult to actually find a man with whom I have some chemistry going, you know? Mutual attraction, not just physical but also intellectual. Someone with whom I have things in common and that I won't get bored of spending time with after a couple of weeks.

But I hardly see this as a "goal". More like a "hope" that it will happen, sooner or later.

to become the CEO of ..... (as long as it is prestigious doesn't matter which one.), which reminds me i have to stop procrastinating an start studying. 🙁

Simple things for me: financial stability and a happy, healthy family.

Go to graduate school and get a degree in accounting.
