what is your greatest wish or goal of any kind (has to be realistic) future and present?

Okay, I feel the need to reply because I wasn't (at least intentionally) insulting the original poster. And chueisha, I think you weren't scanning by post correctly because "virginity" is the last word in my first paragraph. 😉 Did it get overlooked by you because it wasn't just "virgin"? 😉

I'm just curious, although I read the the OP's post (haven't read the rest), I wonder why the topic was started in the 18+ section. Did he want older views such as people planning for a family, good job and kids, instead of a highschooler saying "I want to go to MIT"? Unless the OP was putting it here because of the mention of virginity.
🤣 ^^U
Just thought I'd ask. 🤣 runs 😉
I was pointing more at the mention of "virginity" being mentioned in the OP's post, rather than that he is a virgin.
I suppose I knew there was a chance that even with the emoticons I used, what I said could be seen as a mean post. (I don't totally like the wording for the emoticons admittedly be when I'm using the "haha" ( 🤣 ) (oh look, the 🙂 face overrided the 🤣 face when I typed "(:haha 🙂 "...😉) face I'm not using it as a "haha, you're an idiot". Hmmm, maybe it would've been better off with regular smileys?

But I don't see what I'm wrote being an outright "you're such a loser 🙄 ", and that's not what I said.
I think the word "virgin" automatically gets associated with sex, and I think people probably get squirmish over the matter. The funny thing is, I've seen the the word "virgin" used to describe a person who is an inexperienced in an area other than sex, like hunting and sports. And we were all virgins and inexperienced in at least one point in our lives.

Rule of thumb don't bring up virginity at a site with manga readers. Just Kidding. What made me think you guys were being mean to her was the fact that chue high fived you and the whole topic was already in a bad mood. lol. 😛
P.S hooters virgin lol I have no idea what you're talking about but I can imagine. Yay for hooters virgins I guess. 🤣

my dreams are pretty generic 🤢
First and foremost, I want to excel at whatever I put my mind to.. secondly, I hope I get the motivation to go out and meet someone some day... it's a lot of work though. Lastly, I like space & computer stuff... so I hope to help out with the space program! Those are my goals 🙂
Oh, and if I can somehow conjure the intelligence required, I'd like to prove some major theorem someday 😀 😎

Present: I'd really like to get serious about my future. Sometimes, I'll have crazy determination, but in seconds it's gone and later I'll be like "What the hell happened to all that drive?!" I have many, many hopes and dreams for the future, but really, I just want to see them all become a reality.
It gets hard to concentrate with everything moving so fast; I'm gonna get left behind! Oh, and I'd like to change certain aspects of myself. I'd really like some courage and pride! >.<
Future: First, I want to go on this trip to Japan where you live with several different families over six/eight weeks. I would seriously give anything to go! >.< And then, I'd like to get accepted by the college I want to go to and that's as far as I've gotten (sort of). Of course, I'd like a life that isn't too hard, even though I know it's impossible. I suppose my real goal would be to have those I love most and myself to have ever-lasting happiness.
...or something along those lines 🙄
And along the way, I'd love to win the lottery, so I can finally afford all the anime and manga I want!!! 😛

Well, a lot of money wouldn't be bad. <.<
So I guess getting a well paid job.
It would be neat if I'd learn to take my studying
seriously.

WOW, i considered myself a romantist and a feminist, but i never thought there were other people like that...the veil of ignorance has been lifted. If there is people like you guys in the world, then it can't be so bad, and it means that there is hope. I told my parents after college that i wanted to go to japan and live there for a few years, they didn't mind, ha said they weren't paying though lol 😛 maybe go to tokyo univeristy for grad school, idk
well good lucks with your dreams you guys, but in the little city of durham, unstuck up girls are hard to find. No one seems interested in anything deep, or a long last relationship, it's so sad on my part. 😔 Is it because people are afriad of being only with one person? that's why they don't wat something like that so early? or am i asking too much? 😕
Love, isn't a straight cleared out path. It's one with thorns, and perils that life puts in to shape ourselves to be worthy of that person we fall in love with. You just gotta keep walking.

Realistically speaking, the only thing I want out of life is peace. Nothing grand like world peace, just a personal peace (if you actually get what I mean). Anyone read The Lotus Eater by Somerset Maugham? I wanna live a life like that!

They kill us for their sport

My current goals are to relax and enjoy my youth!!(As little as that is due to a certain place...)Yea, I know, pretty dumb goal but your only young once ^^;
Future goals would consist of, after Highschool, finding a way to live like a king working as little as possible, I have virtually no idea how I'm gonna make that work -.- But I shan't despair, I'll find a way! In the meantime I'll probably just get an apprenticeship in welding and I'll see how things go from there ^^ (Pretty average, huh? 🙁 )

John 7:37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.
John 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'"
For many of the desires I have in my life I often forget that the ultimate satisfaction in life doesn't come from getting lots of money, lots of stuff, lots of girlfriends, lots of ...., but the the ultimate satisfaction comes from God. He knows what we really need in order to satisfy the the thirst or hunger that is inside of us. And that's him. My greatest wish or goal would be to grow as close to God in this life time as I can. Hopefully that involves me going to Japan to do that, but we'll see. Our God is so Satisfying.

How would going to Japan help bring you closer to God 😕 My family are Roman Catholics and I wouldn't think it's wise to make your whole life about God unless you want to be a nun or monk. Also I don't accept things blindly so I'll ask questions and seek the real thruth in this world. If god made us then he also made our curiosity and trying to surpress it would be like trying to go against nature. So I'll question his existence at times and whether the bible is even real cause a lot of it makes no sense. And sometimes i'll wonder if he's just given up on mankind and sometimes i think he's just cruel. One of my favourite quotes of all time is from a movie with James Earl Jones called Cry the Beloved and in it the priest zulu says "Why does God allow the poor to be exploited and the innocent to suffer? and some guy says (about the fundizi) "I don't think I've ever met a truly good man before" and zulu says "And yet why does God not show him any mercy" or something like that. I won't accept blindly like you my friend although I still think a god exists I don't know if I agree with his master plan. Too many innocent people suffer unspeakable cruelties in this world. So I don't know how satisying he is for me. Also churches these days are just another money making gimmick. Healers and donating part of your income. To quote my good friends Penn and Teller "Bullshit!" 😛 My 99999 cents The 1951 version of the movie is quite good too also the book. 😛

indeed. If you are a Buddhist, Tibet or India is probably the place to go. Taoism and Confucianism, you should go to China. So really, the only religion you should go to Japan for is Traditional Japanese Religion.
My ultimate goal.....is.....to find out......the reason of our existence.
