Wow, so many good recommends. Otoyomegatari and Saiunkoku Monotogari are exactly what I was looking for. Too bad both of them have only few chapters translated. It's going to test my patience to wait for new chapters. *sigh* Also Four Daughters of Armian must be pretty good too. It's got great reviews. I'll check it out too.

I already read Kare Kano and yeah it's very good. I love the beginning although things got slightly tedious in later chapters. Still very good manga.

Thanks everyone. These should keep me quite busy.

Sorry, I missed your request for clarification of Mother Sarah. I think the summary focused on the environmental/planetary stuff? In the actual story, Sarah is traveling around, trying to find her children, from whom she was separated in the return to Earth. Lots of solving local problems on the journey, with a fair amount of kicking butt and quite a lot of awesome.

The word I think describes Sarah best is 'competent.'
