In my opinion, editing and scan quality has gotten much better. Translations in general have gotten better. However, proofreading remains a problem for many groups.

I never gasp, squeal, curse, etc. when read manga, but I did quietly laugh and cry from time to time.

Only if it's a manga I really like. If I can really get into the plot, I show all kinds of reactions. Though I do hold back when I'm not alone 😀

The only thing I do is laugh from time to time when it is a comedy.

If I had a fantasy self, it'd be a tentacle monster.

I do squeal and curse, but I don't 'gasp'.
I do sometimes cry and laugh too.
But all the reactions that I make, I try to keep them silent, unless i'm alone in the room, which is rare.
The only thing I do out loud is laugh 🤣

i'm a very expressive person so i made all sorts of noise when i'm reading manga, books, watching tv, listening to radio, etc. i don't care about other people, i'm known to laugh out loud in public places while i'm reading books. when i'm very excited with a scene in a tv, i like to jump out of the couch and run around the room, i'm just too hype up.

i got reprimanded a lot, but i easily fall into the characters' emotions since i don't have that much opportunity to feel and express it IRL.

Where's the laugh out loud option?

I'm infamous in my house for bursting out laughing in the dead of night. So yeah. 😀

Other than laughing every now and then, no.

You can PM me if you need a temporary (freelance) cleaner/redrawer for some project. Especially if it's something with nice art.
Being the lazy person that I am, I'm not likely to accept anything long-term though.

I've for sure gasped a few times here and there but other then that and the occasional chuckle I'm pretty quiet. I don't think I ever say words and definitely never squeal.
