ok so every couple of days i check ongoing manga chapters, and when i was checking blade of the immortal i found volume 23 24 and 25 to be translated by some group so i clicked to check their website. but the link was a mediafire link to the chapters.

Now i checked again everything have been taken down. But i did download some chapters. does that mean that the translation is fake or wrong. i saw a couple of pages they seemed legit.

First of all, please read the rules.
Threads about specific titles should be made in their consecutive forums.

I'm not sure I understand your question though.
No scanlations are "legit", and no groups can claim any manga as "their own".
Any random/less official group or person can scanlate any given manga.
It's especially common with the very popular titles.

Those releases aren't on this site; so, if you're not specific about what, where, and who you are talking about, no one will understand.
So, stop skirting around your topic and be specific.

Also, only 2 chapters of BotI releases that were removed form MU, which was caused by a translator/editor confrontation.

Other releases were not approved.

I downloaded volume 23 but i am still reading in volume 20 so i havent read it yet but since the releases were taken down i thought that they might be fakes or something

I just wanted to know if they were legit i know releases arent posted here, and i wasnt asking for them, but i was talking about the release history being removed.

Releaees legit or not, no need to be rude. But thanks to your answer i got the picture. The translations are legit but stolen from another translator ( claim)

aside from MU's policy of not allowing direct links to the download, i'm guessing it was taken down to avoid unnecessary confrontation. based on Toto's links, it seems the person who uploaded those volumes used Anotsu Diary's translations without their consent.

If Lightysnake didn't try to re-add those releases a little after I posted, I would not have know what you were talking about.

You need to include necessary information for people to understand what you are talking about... if you actualy want any action to be taken... regardless of the decision.

Ok so what more info can i give on such a simple matter
I mentioned the series ( BOTI)
The volumes (that were translated)
And if they are real or not, i dont get what was not clear to you

The only thing i didnt mention was the sub group since the link to their site was a mediafire link
I didnt know my english was so confusing

But i get where your coming from seeing as after a couple of minutes when i checked mangaupdates they were removed

I'll try harder next time
