Facepalm Inducing Occurences?

I facepalmed this afternoon at the mall when some chick in the front of the line picked up a lip gloss from the counter and exclaimed, "Omigawd, I didn't know they could put lip gloss in these things! How smart!"

I'd like to point out you should only bash people for bad grammar if they deserve to be bashed. Due to the fact that some people just don't have a good enough grasp of the English grammar to keep their posts readable.

Actually I was only correcting your quote, not your original sentence. But even so, some people are just to up tight about these things. I find that as long as I can read it then it is fine. In actual fact, the majority of the people on this forum who talk about bad grammer make gramatical errors themselves.

As far as I know, no one other than you has gone "anal" over this type of "error" on the forums.
A lack of ellipsis or capital letters is not as bad as talking in engrish.

Another facepalm inducing occurrence (apart from this) that I could add to my list is when anime adaptations ignore certain key features of the universe they're adapting from. Take the recent Wolverine anime adaptation for example. Wolverine's adamantium claws were pretty much treated like it wasn't able to cut through other metals easily.
"Your claws won't be able to cut through this reinforced steel..."
Case in point.
