As far as I know, no one other than you has gone "anal" over this type of "error" on the forums.
A lack of ellipsis or capital letters is not as bad as talking in engrish.

Another facepalm inducing occurrence (apart from this) that I could add to my list is when anime adaptations ignore certain key features of the universe they're adapting from. Take the recent Wolverine anime adaptation for example. Wolverine's adamantium claws were pretty much treated like it wasn't able to cut through other metals easily.

It should be, properly speaking, "too uptight," "grammar," and "grammatical." Yes, I am uptight. You should also avoid starting a paragraph with "actually" and following it with "in actual fact." The latter even sounds awful on its own, but it's worse when used in succession. Just lazy writing, really.

I also believe that a quoted portion of a sentence does not necessarily need to be subjected to grammatical adjustment. Ellipses would certainly be an appropriate solution, but with the quote box it's probably not necessary, because it's providing a copy of the original image... hmm...

@blak: I was going to make a joke about your legitimacy being challenged, but as this conversation is essentially relevant...
