Hananah Montana, Britney Spears, Linsay Lohan, Vanessa Hudgens, Paris Hilton, etc. All those people. You know what I'm talking about. 🤨

laff... I don't like Motorhead either, or Iron Maiden, or AC/DC.
But I can stand them, that's why I didn't list them, until now... The thing these bands have in common is I don't like the singers voice specifically. Maiden and AC/DC are too shrieky/whiny and Motorhead is like a wet dog or something.
I also must point out that while I like death/black/doom/sludge/etc metal, I don't like it if the singer sounds like an adolescent child grunting and growling... even if they do it well on first impression, it'll shine through after listening a little more. And almost no matter how good the rest sounds, if the singer does it wrong I can't enjoy it and I can't like it.

Man, I just don't get how people can not like those bands.
Bon Scott had a distinct voice that fit the music perfectly. Listen to "The Jack".
Come on, really listen to Lemmy. Wet dog? Maybe, but it fits the music, which is sloppy, nasty, in your face rock and roll.
Bruce Dickinson? Operatic vocals.
These are classic bands for a reason.
as far as the vocals go- Cookie Monster and over processed vocals are the only things I hate.
It takes a lot of listening to really get a feel for any band, which is why I no longer acquire just songs, but entire albums. You also have to address the music as a whole, not just one aspect of it.
In Black Metal, along with the cookie monster vocals, the guitar sound is often either extremely grainy and scooped, or extremely bassy. Bassy+speed= not good.
I still would like to find a black metal band I like.

I can't help but think that we have slightly different definitions on cookie monster, black metal and the current state of heavy metal.
I have been looking for a black metal band for you.
Problem is that I like a certain style and I don't bother with most of the new shit, nor much of the old shit for that matter, so what I can suggest is pretty limited.
So how about Wolves in the Throne Room and their track I will lay down my bones among the rocks and roots part 2 of it (it's a 18min song)
Or maybe SIG:AR:TYR, a non-metal person told me he was surprised when he heard this and said the vocals didn't shit on this track like "cookie monster" usually does: Etched in Stone
Maybe even October Falls, their latest release is a break from their previous all acoustic style: The Womb of Primordial Nature III
All these bands are great, I love them.

^I gave all of those links a listen. That's not really my type of metal. IDK, it was just a bit to operatic for me. It sounded like classical music. Not really my bag.
When it comes to metal, I need two things. Huge guitar tone, and heavy, powerful riffs.

That type of stuff. Grainy guitars is my main thing. I can get over vocals after time, but grainy guitars is a no-no.

Hananah Montana, Jonas Brothers and anything else of that music genre.
I also have an intense dislike for Knarles Barkley (Spelling?) and Rap music in general, too.

Most of my friends/family practically kill me when I say this, but Queen. You'd hate it, too, if you were forced to listen to it as often as I am.

It's Gnarls Barkley, I don't understand how u link the two 'cause the group is so alt rock-orientated and lies in the border between alt-rock/alt-hiphop, Cee-lo don't even rap in most their songs, but when he does he's like William Shakespeare on the mic.
