🙂 I do actually know the difference between real emo bands and the wannabes, but it's just gotten to the point where it's all labled as that so I just go with it. (BTW, Thursday is truly a terrible band!) Would "pop punk" be a better term, do you think?

Is he the one that made that really popular song? The one named after him? Crank Dat Soldier Boy? (It's amazing what a google search can turn up) That is some of the most atrocious garbage that has ever been called music, but Somebody did a screamo remix and it was pretty loltastic. The death metal power chord breakdown on 2:25 is particularly funny. Somebody else decided that speeding up the remix would be even funnier (which isn't true), but the metal breakdown in that one is still funny because the guitars sounds like 8 or 16-bit videogame music.

I don't hate any kind of music or artist/band. But real and timeless music never comes from hyped record company produced music, which use a sexy guy/girl as a front. There is too much hatred man. 😀 😎

I also dislike... DJ Darude. He created the heinousness that is Sandstorm. Every teenage wannabe hipster in my town says "I love techno!" and what they really mean is "I love Sandstorm, because it shares a name with our school paper!". That is kiddy-pool techno, which sucks.

Though I must admit that it's a great song to play on the piano when you don't have to listen to the main singer... or hear the remix wherein Timbaland plays suuuuch a huge role... He doesn't just make random noises in the background then make a mint off of them, what are you talking about?
