Do you keep those? Like things from when you were little or things from not so long ago that is taking space but you can't get to throw them away?

In my case I pretty much keep all that I can, I don't really know why, I don't even look through them from time to time, maybe I just can't throw them 🤣

I have stuff from like 8 years ago, since I moved to this city, mostly notebooks, papers, and stuff.

I keep what i think i might need or want later on, i need to get rid of some stuff...

i find it hard to get rid of stuff. im not far gone that people can call me a horder tho. once in a while, i get pissed off at myself and do a clear-out 🤨

Yea, I have hair clips and clothes that I've had since 6th grade or something that I still use... I mostly keep stuff for sentimental reasons.

I've got waaaayyy too much stuff. Just brought all of my things home from the storage space and now the garage is filled with everything from my apartment. My closet consists of 10 18gallon totes filled with keepsakes, stationary, art supplies and miscellaneous projects. The attic has all of my childhood clothes and toys that my mom saved. 🙄 I think it's time to make some donations!

Hey I have stuff from elementary school too!!! And last time I found some drawing from first grade and other stuff, but I got rid of them and now I only have from sixth or fifth grade 🤣 🤣

I've kept some stuff, but not a lot; over the years I've weeded out a lot of it. Moving several times did help!

I still have some of my treasured toys & dolls, a few books, my dollhouse...and I think that's about it. Every few years I go through and get rid of a few more things. Some things I just throw away, some go to thrift stores, and a few I've given to my niece.

Other than photos, I don't think my mom has saved ANYTHING from when I was little.

Edit - I do have a couple boxes of school papers & yearbooks & stuff, covering all the way through college (twice). I go through that stuff periodically & get rid of stuff too. 😃

Some. Like, I still have my rock collection from 3rd grade, my old bike, my blanket, old hats, my HP books from elementary school, and not that much at all really. I don't like to keep old stuff, I like 'em new 😃

I try to keep everything but my mom throws my stuff away and they are all in the garage unless I hide them but I selected most.

I still have my Zoids(alot) from when that came out, and Beyblades from like when I was in 7th grade. And I have my Gundam action figures from 5th grade... I think thats it. Oh wait no I also have some DBZ action figures from 5th grade. Wow that was a while back.

Edit: I just realized I have had my pokemon comforter for almost 10 years, 4th grade!!!! Wow and I still use it 🤢

I just cleaned out my walk-in closet worth of old junk the other day, all collected from the last 10-15 years or so. I found the strangest stuff in there... Take for example the poster of a pug playing a harmonica. O_O I seriously have no idea when or where I acquired that...

Oh, and how could I forget about my easy-bake oven? I dug it out from under old school projects from like 3rd grade and practically had a confection-induced orgasm when I saw it. I used to love making those little cupcakes that took forever to cook (which is expected, considering the food is basically baked by the heat of a light bulb...). It pained me to get rid of it, but I made a point of baking a ceremonious M&M cookie as my final farewell. 🤣
