I like Jesus. I think he was a cool guy. Especially because he could change water into wine, and what not.

No, he existed, it's just that either he's powers have been largely exaggerated or his from the future.

He does exist.... played poker with him last week. He's Spanish and the 'J' in his name should be pronounced like 'H' (Hesus)

Better water into whiskey. I could accept water into wine only if he was italian...Arimathean wine? Never heard of it 😛
Besides, i think he wasnt too cool, just an epic emo (end of his life proves it XD), but theres a good side of the matter: he was the first great testimonial of the piercing.
Mmm in the end i voted No, John Belushi was, Jesus wasnt imho 😛

If this guy is not who he's claiming to be, that would make him one of the biggest lyers in history. 🤢

Considering the fact that he did exist AND managed to shape history for two thousand years after his death, even if you don't believe he's the Son of God and all that, he's definitally a force to be reckoned with. How many people are actually amazing enough to have a huge religion like that because of them? 'Cause I can only think of two besides the big J.C.

My thoughts exactly.

Jesus probably existed since he doesn't just show up in the Christian religion. Also, archaeologists have been able to uncover ancient civilizations do to descriptions in The Bible. However, he was probably a normal human being, like Siddhartha (AKA Buddha). I think time, people, and varying cultures have just twisted the facts. A good example of this is Christmas. Nowhere in The Bible does it state that Jesus was born on December 25; and according to stellar positions it is more likely he was born in March. Even today Christmas is not celebrated on December 25 worldwide.

I'm talking about Jesus as a character, not Jesus as a religious figure. Even if he was a character in a fictional story, I would still like him, much like I like various other fictional characters.
Does that mean that he never existed? No. Does that mean that he did? No.
This isn't a religious thread.
