Man, I finished it last night...it was so amazing! Probably one of the best books I'll ever read 🤣

I bought mine the day before at Walmart early in the morning, there was no rush and no line, pretty much hassle free, so I'm glad I did that 🙂

I cried...four times, lol. The first time when they were transferring Harry and they were waiting for everyone else. Second time when Dobby died. I really liked Dobby!!! Especially in the book! (He was nasty in the movie). He was a really cool house elf 😀 The third time when Harry was at his parents' grave and the last time when Harry was walking into the forest. Am I too sensitive? 🤣

I actually liked the ending. I really didn't want Harry to die and I just knew he wouldn't die. It's hard for an author to kill off characters, really hard, especially after working with the same one for so long, so I had a feeling she wouldn't let him die. But I wish that the epilogue was longer!!! I wanted to find out how the rest of the Weasleys were and Luna and a whole bunch of other people! I at least wanted to know what happened to Teddy 🙁

After I finished reading it, I sat there just hugging it for a while cuz I was really sad that this was the last book 😢

same here, got it at walmart finished it the first day,hassle free. the ending, and some other parts of the book, felt rushed. but i liked it. i want to know what happens during the 19 year gap. teddy grew up they talked about him in the last few pages.

wish i've gone through it slower >_>......i wanna chew on it for at least a week T_T...ah well, once i've got the book (i've been reading off genuine pdf version) i'm gonna read the whole series again, just to kill time 😀

when Dobby died that I had to go get a whole roll of TP to blow my nose with. I never even really like the character so much. WTF But the book was amazing even though so many people died. I wish it didn't have to end, but since it did, Rowling did a great job wrapping things up.

heres the real kicker about all this, she is done. No more books from her in anything. Sucks because if you have read her other stuff, she is a pretty damn good writer.

it makes sense in a way, 'cause i'm pretty sure that if she ever writes again, people will compare her new books to harry potter and stuff, and no writers would want that (same think happened to rurouni kenshin & busou renkin) plus, her creative engine must have been exhausted after finishing the series...she still got the movies to co-direct, and she's already on the list of the richests women in the world 😎

I actually got a bit choked up there myself. The other deaths, even Dumbledore's last time, didn't really get to me but that one did for some reason.

I liked the book, I had a little trouble getting into it in the beginning and I felt it was a bit slow going for a while there, but once Harry and crew left Sirius' place it picked up.

The ending wasn't perfect but it wrapped up well enough for me. I thought the final duel kind of dragged on with a little too much of Harry talking and explaining wandlore, it felt like she wanted to be sure the readers understood why what happened happened so she just had Harry give a play by play as it was happening; wasn't very subtle.

I thought she could have just had them duke it out in a quicker, more intense duel then have Harry explain to everyone else after the fact if she wanted. During the fight I just had this mental image of them walking in circles for five minutes with Harry lecturing Voldemort on wands and their behavior.

Other than that, no complaints. 🙂

wow thx odia you summed up like an 800 page book that can probably be cut down to like 650 if they put in smaller text in one post now i only read up to book three i read like 4 chapters of book 4 lost intrest then decided to watch the movies instead irs good to know that i was able to predict most of waht happened

snape dying i made a joke to my bro that the twins would die and 1 did ron and hermione would make some kids and rons sister and harry would make kids and of course like all smart authors she ends the story with the beginning of a new so if she wants she can start anew story maby hermione gets killed by that blond kid malfoys think dunno forgot then one of rons kids kills malfoy's kid then hagrid the new head of the school gets the kid out of it and malfoys becomes like a new voldamort twords rons kid with harry's kids as support characters. thats if rawling runs out of money though

What about the door that Srius fell into at the end of book 5? What was it? I would really like to know.

I didn't cry when reading the book, didn't feel anything actually. It was just kinda like 'oh ok, the series is done'. Did anyone think the whole love scene between Harry and Ginny was a little too cheesy? When I read the first few chapters where Harry was acting all gay about his feelings and kissing Ginny I went 'WTF' because it was seriously bad romance writing. Rowlings should just stick to children's books not romantic fiction 😛

The only good thing about the book was Snape, seriously. Damn, I wish he had ended up with Lily and stupid Harry didn't get born. He's gotta be better than some cocky nerd (sorry, I'm just not a huge of the Potter family)
