i doubt that. no items from Diablo I made it to Diablo 2. And I don't want the same broken weapon again in a sequel..... at least give it a different name with more mods.

The most famous weapons I can remember from Diablo 1 were in Diablo 2.

There's actually many more, but I only faintly remember Diablo 1 by now. Wasn't 1 or 2 of the Naj's set from Diablo 1? Anyways, I think they will transfer over the most popular items or most powerful items (because those were the most powerful items in Diablo 1 (only power item I don't think transfered was Demonspike Coat, the most powerful armor of Diablo 1, which wasn't widely known as far as I remember (most people used Godly Plate of the Whale on Battle Net.))) They all had different stats, of course, but they are still pretty good power-wise in Diablo 2.

The witch doctor doesn't fit the bill, summoned dogs are NOT that cool. The necromancer had style...

Well at least SC2 is going to be released in a few more weeks... unless the beta testers find something very bad with it... in with case, Blizzard would push back the date yet again...

To be honest, I quite like them orbs. They look like they're pretty helpful and it's not like potions are taken out of the game :\
