i've recently fallen in love with syundei's art style, where their works are from 2010+ but the art feels nostalgic of the 90s. i don't really like super old manga because they're difficult to relate to. i find fault with a lot of stories or their characters, and facial expressions are often overly exaggerated. trends have changed and there's so much detail in newer series, but i do appreciate older art styles and what older series have contributed to the community.

i'd prefer newer stories with old art styles, but older stories are appreciated if they're amazing and not annoying as how i described above

Mado kara Madoka-chan has an art style that reminds me of 90's Pokemon Adventures. Also, while not a Nip, BlueTheBone does a lot of "Classic animu" art; however, he isn't currently making any series as far as I know.
