Why don't you like Gintama? The Anime is dope as heck. Personally I won't read a Manga anymore unless it's funny, so I come here looking for suggestions and seeing you not liking Gintama blew my mind enough to join x]. But if you have a list of good comedies and where I can read the scanlations online hook me up smile.

Gintama, well.......i saw the 1st few episodes of the anime, and it didn't seem to have any kind of plot, so it just wasn't really for me, but uhhh, sure i could but, we might have different tastes, but pm if you still wanna know

recommend Ai Kora. The main character is absolutely nuts! He always overdoes things and comes up with the craziest schemes to further his "parts love." I always look forward to the next chapter.

I'll also mention Pretty Face. I'm a sucker for a good gender bender and this story has it in spades. It's so good that I can't help but wonder why it doesn't have an anime series.

If you don't mind the "ecchiness to the point of it almost being hentai", then I'll suggest Happy World . Or rather the first half of the manga. I had tons of laughs, but the second half of the manga leads more towards the drama/action genres, so that isn't what you're asking for here specifically.

i've heard some horrible things about this manga on here, but i do like to form my own opinion, so i can check out, and action/drama doesn't really bother me, infact i welcome it, as long as it haves some laughs, then i'm straight with it

How about Chi's Sweet Home ? I also recommend the anime, subbed by Yoroshiku.
It's scanlated by two of well known yaoi scanlation groups, but this one definitely not yaoi, it's seinen actually. Chi reminds me a lot to Yotsuba as in naive kid who excites about anything biggrin

i dont know if i can read/watch something about a cat, and i wasn't too big on Yotsuba either, but ehhh......ain't the anime like real short episodes? i can give it a try

There's a few major ones I don't remember seeing on your lists. School Rumble has many, many good laughs in it. The ending is kinda flat, but nobody knows where the mangaka is going with the current sequel so he might make something of it yet.

Love Hina gets criticized a bit around here for being a sort of a "generic" harem type manga, but the main reason it seems generic is because it set the pattern for so many that followed it. Taken on it's own merits, it is a very funny physical slapstick series with some memorable characters. Mahou Sensei Negima! by the same author is more of the same driven by a modern fantasy adventure plot.

I would also recommend Ultimate!! Hentai Kamen, Ai Kora and Oretama (My Balls!)

didn't like the school rumble animes nor the love hina one to be honest, and Sensei Negimas about the harry potter + a harem thing right?, i dont know why, but my guts always told me to avoid that manga, but i can check out hentai kamen though, and i'm already reading oretama

I am HUGE FAN of Jun'ai Tokkou Taichou. Shoujo School life with delinquents tickle me bad! This is not a typical shoujo with girly bishie, its has a violent girl who likes an equally violent not-bishie dude.

Another manga of this type that I like is Dramacon though its mainly the first volume coz of all the wise cracking that I miss SO MUCH in manga being in Japanese and all. Unfortunately, maybe, both are romance oriented but my first reco is quite good, try out the first few chapters.

yeah i'm reading Jun'ai To-whatever its called, and i agree very funny manga, ...... but i can try Dramacon though, and nah romance dont bother me, but the fact that it looks like the manga got dropped will, but i can still try it

1/2 Prince!!! Its supper funny 😀

The story tell about a girl who enters in a online fufuristic game in the form of a boy. Her/his name in the RPG game is Prince that's why the title is 1/2 Prince, half because he is not totally a boy. There is a lot of acticon and comedy scenes and even if you don't like shoujo, because this is shoujo, this manha will make you laught until you die. 🤣 🤣 🤣

the art only bad for 2-3 volume, but after that is great,i dropped it too after 1 vol but after i look the anime i decide to read again and i can't stop, is realy hillarious!!!! you will find the most funny,crazy,memorable couple(specially ataru) in comedy genre, the other chara is damn funny too!!! is full of comedy moment,you should try it!!!

Honestly, i cant believe that no one mentioned beelzebub. It's a new series on jump shonen, ITS HILARIOUS. I think its on par with Gintama and Yankee-kun to Megane-chan.

Also not sure if anyone mentioned these, but Mr. Fullswing and Sket Dance are funny. Personally Mr. Fullswing is way too silly for me, but its still funny. As for Sket Dance, its an awesome manga with a PLOT (gasp!) AND its funny as hell.
