For the OP, I'd rec one of my fave authors: Miyamoto Kano but personally I'm not into any of the above.

My fave yaoi is the types that's about two guys (ultra fem characters make me cringe) who are already in a relationship (or getting into one) and the hassles involved. Don't really care about the genre, though comedy is a plus.

I like hardcore hentai-like yaoi with all sorts of fetishes and shotacon. But there is no such option in the poll.

It is nonsense to match psychological/darkness with no story.

Agreed. One of my favorites is psychological, but it's all story.

One thing I like about Yaoi is the male character art design is so good compare to the mainstreams.
On story, I would like to see no sex or anything smutty thing involve just friendship between men.

Im not into lovey-dovey scenes, just tight hug and/or a smile to each other is enough for me. 🙂
