There are definitely more types of yaoi than those. Can't I have stories with elements from 1,3, and 5? If it's only 3, it will be boring.

I prefer yaoi with guys that act like guys and can be both seme and uke. And yaoi with a seinen/shounen type of adventure/drama/mystery plot would be the best. I like pretty drawings. But guys drawn completely like girls are a turn off (e.g. No Money, Minami Haruka's uke) unless they are seme (girly feminine seme and shota seme are my favorite). I am having my hopes on Tsukiya. That guy is beautiful.

I completely second this. But, if I had to choose from all the options given I guess the first one.

I voted #3. Nowadays I prefer straight-up guy on guy hard action more than the "seme and uke" cliched fluffy romance. I like Datte Ai ja Nai!? simply for the variety of actions the cute uke is forced to participate in (lol I am such a voyeur perv) and don't care about the seme and the ending. I DON'T like anal penetration at all. It's probably weird for a fujoshi since it's so common in yaoi. I like anything else. However, a lot of yaoi smut is just that and not much of anything else. I'd prefer that to be replaced with a lot of ecchi (use your imagination, authors!).

I do like good plots but I guess I have already read most of the types of plots I prefer out there. Yes, I watched a bit of gay porn but not any more. I am not against others watching porn. But I don't like the complications associated with using real actors and the industry. I am not gonna support porn for that reason by watching them. And I can't always find what I like and guys I like in gay porn. At least, it's much easier to find drawing styles I like in yaoi.
