I was reading a relatively graphic smut manga on my mother's computer when I last visited my parents' house. She saw it was manga but didn't even look closer to find out what exactly it was. 😎 I am sure even if what I had read was hentai or yaoi, she wouldn't have cared! She's one of those who are not interested in manga and don't want to know what's in them.

Yeah, those kinds of stuff should be read by adults. I hope that's why your mom's OK with your dad's porn mags. But I do think she should have had a good talk with you after finding out. It's really a shame.

I picked 7 even though I don't live back home anymore, but they never did find out. I had my own room which was located in the attic, so they never took the trouble of going up stairs, they would just call me on my phone or scream if I need anything. 🤣

My roommates on the other hand always come into my room at the worst of times even when the door is locked they somehow interrupt me. But sometimes they just join me, so yeah. 😀

It's the other way around here.

I'm sitting with the back to the children room on my PC and when I read yaoi it already happened that one of my kids (elementary school) was suddenly standing behind me in the middle of the night because they had a bad dream or whatever. Thanks to the TFT monitor, they can't really see but when your into a story you just don't hear how someone comes near.

That's why I don't watch any yaoi anime or horror movies when they're at home. As a mother, I can't just lock my door and put a headphone one. I need to be easily reachable for the kids anytime. At least as long as they're still so young.

Closest I've ever gotten (and probably ever will get) to porn is smut manga and those sex scenes they insist on putting in movies just to get a PG-13/R rating. Obviously, the rents don't care about the movie bit and since I have my own laptop, keeping them from finding out about the smut is a breeze; on the rare occasion I have no choice but to use the family laptop (never use the desktop since it's much to easy to get found out on), I always delete everything, including web history and empty the recycling when I'm done.
If the rents ever found out about my manga (let alone, the smut), they'd go through the roof. And then tell me to get my butt out the door and find myself a real boyfriend.
