But how can you suck at role-playing?

Well if you don't like leveling up to defeat a hard boss and you keep dying, I could say you sucked smile

I think too many people rate themselves too highly though. If you're telling me you're a 10 with FPS games, I believe you should be on par with tourney players. I have a 4.52 kill per death ratio in one server for Team Fortress 2 and that's one full point above the number two (with 1,000+ kills). I still wouldn't say I was a 10.

Wow, it about time I meet someone with a Ps3.

I have one too (though I only have two games so far). They're not that rare still, are they?

Well about 19% of people that play COD4 online play on ps3.
Xbox has over 50%.

FPS - 5/10
I swear, I aim for the head and they don't die...
And the bloody snipers are EVERYWHERE
But when amidst of corridors and city fights, I rule

RPG - 10/10
Never had a problem with RPG. Always ended up with lots of money. Always was on pretty high levels. Usually kills a boss within first try, including last bosses. Never had a trouble. Never

MMORPG - 3/10
This is the opposite of RPG. I always seem to be low on money. Never seem to find items and if I did, never the right job. Guilds just annoy me. I reached level 72 in 2 years in maplestory, and hears the stories of 'I should make a Ranger. It shouldn't take me long. Just a month or so' which makes me depressed. If MMORPG was real life, I would be a begger

2D Fighter - 5/10
If it is SSB series, I would be 8. If it's something like Street Fighter, it's a 2/10. I own in brawl. Beat up lvl 9 in a 10 stock match with 5 stocks left over on average. Street fighter style and MUGEN, can never remember the movesets. But I always have a tendency to beat my brother.

3D FIghter - 2/10
Same as Street Fighter and such series. I suck. Period.

Action - 9/10
Action games are a breeze, unless it's Megaman. Megaman + spikes = frustration. Other than that, I love action games and they are easy. Nothing more

Arcade shooter (e.g. Time Crisis) - 9/10
I get pretty far with one credit. About 1/2 the game. Shoots anything that moves and keep on shooting. Additive and it's fun. I am always seem to be pretty good with it. Accuracy wise, I'm 80% accurate.

Platformer (3D) - 10/10
3D platformer? Isn't that a one way route and you keep following it like Mario and most movie related games. Never had a trouble. Too easy

Platformer - (Old School) - 1/10
Bad graphics put me off. The timing isn't seem to be right. The controls seem to be slippery. I'm more of new gen system gamer

Point n' Click Adv. - 5/10
Half and half. Some games, I can do it. Some games, I have to look through a walkthrough

Puzzle - 10/10
I love puzzles. I shine in that area. I especially love Puzzle League and able to cast 6x chains with a bit of luck and skills. Any puzzle games, I'm good
Survival Horror - 1/10
Never played it. Never will. Ok, I did play Doom 3. I ain't playing that again though...

Racing - 0/10
I. Hate. Racing. Games. Whenever I play racing games, my friend shouts out 'TURN!' and I say 'When?' and crash into a wall. He also shouts out 'Turn! there's a wall in front of you!' and I go 'Where?' Bang! 'Ah, there it is.' I always have a tendency to find the NOs button during a race while turning...
I somewhat able to play Mario Kart and F-zero, but that's because I had more practice than he did. But never be able to finish them...

RTS (includes Pikmin)- 7/10
I was pretty good at Age of Empires 2. Haven't played many RTS cause my computer can't run it. I can kill the computer opponents in Starcraft at 1vs1 if they are the zergs. I hate Warcraft. Not the side maps, but the normal play. But I can finish the campaigns in most RTS in Hard Difficulty (2nd highest normally). Pikmin was a breeze. So fun and loved it

In average 7/10.

Well that's because K/D ratio means nothing in TF2 biggrin

The point of the game is not to kill people, but to capture points or get the enemy intelligence (cart is point capturing in a way too). Sometimes it's pretty hard to do both and if K/D means a good player, you should always be the "defender" (yeah I see some people always picking the defending side in all maps no matter what). Meaning that you should be a sniper or an engi or a demo whoring the point where the enemy must go to no matter what. Or if you have a pal helping as a medic, then soldier of course.

I mean I could get 1 kill 23 deaths and capture the enemy intelligence 3 times as a spy. I would of course be the hero of my team.

Well if I play in one server for over 1,000+ kills, it means I do attack and defend. I usually play Soldier without Medics ever helping me for the most part but I do play Demoman and Sniper in certain spots. You can't say the point of TF2 isn't to kill though, because if I kill a third of the enemy team, someone can get on that point.

You kill when your defending too. It's just that there's more strategy than a good shot, you have to organize yourself.

Well if you happened to kill 3 heavies and 2 medics of 16-man team with "skills" and there's still a bunch of turrets and demomen standing in front of you, you can't do jack shit. You just have to trust your buddies to sap the turrets, go uber against the turrets, have demomen destroy the turrets, heal demomen etc... Which are not really that much of killing tasks.

RPGs get a 8/10. I'm pretty good at them, but I wouldn't say a pro, as I normally die once for every boss before I defeat them.

MMORPGs get a 10/10. I'm great at them. Always level quickly, hardly ever die, and always have great armor and lots o' money, among other things. However, this could also be because I get addicted to them and play them 24/7......

Racing games get a 4/10. I mean, I'm good at them, but its more of a practice makes perfect thing. Like, I'll fail at the first 4 levels, but after that I'm sweet at the game for the rest of the levels.

Strategy Games are great. 9/10 is generally my average on them. They're really fun and really easy. I always have more then enough points or monies or whatever after the first level or two.

Horror Survival games get a 5/10, since it really depends on the game. I mean, I can be great at them, or I can suck at them.

Action games get a 6/10, I mean, I can do them, and occasionally I'm great at them, but I'm never at the top with them.

Shooting games are like.. 1/10. I just can't do them. At all.

I really have no idea what you're trying to argue. I already gave on the fact that having a high KPD is not everything in TF2 when I said I wouldn't say I was a 10 (and that was just an example) but if you believe someone that kills more people than most isn't a good addition, so be it. Just because I mention the KPD ratio doesn't mean I don't destroy an SG or two as well.

By the way, it's harder to do jack shit with those Heavies and Medics around. smile

I just ment that different classes specify your K/D ratio a lot. Or well depending to the map.

And I was talking about only TF2, a FPS which has critical hits. I've seen soldiers get crits (without medics) with every possible shot. I really hate when I react faster and shoot straight at them doing max. damage with a normal missile and they shoot somewhere near me, kinda far away actually, but it's a flashy rocket and BAM you're dead.

Or when a scout jumps at my face when I happen to be a demoman and hits me with a critical and I get a critical shot too with the main ball and hit him when he's straight in front of me. Both die.

Not to mention the new critical "frenzies". I happened to once get one as a defending demo in a cart map when a medic jumped on my back when his soldier got killed by a sniper, I hit the frenzy and he ubers me and I run at the attacking enemies and start shooting stickies. Bam bam bam death death death. They couldn't escape. I mean their whole team was behind that corner getting ubers and I just destroyed everything with my shining little balls while in invincible mode.

Or talking about public servers, this once in Dustbowl stage 2 when placing a turret on top of that little hut, this public attacking team could not get past my turret during the map and they just continued to try. It just continued like that forever.

I do well in tournaments, but First place is something that doesn't seem to be in my reach... the best I have done is second place and that was in Halo CE
