I wonder if there might be some way for MU to automatically move oneshots from a user's "completed" list to his/her "reading" list, if new releases are added to the manga's info page.

For example, I just learned that Shiroi Kumo, which I thought was a oneshot, was still being scanlated because other stories are contained in the anthology. Since it was on my completed list, I initially didn't know that there were new releases.

Something similar also happened with Heaven's Door (HONGOU Ranko), which was changed from a oneshot to a series.
