This chapter was very epic, from the fights to revealing some of Ace's past.

Speaking of which, that portion seems to at least indicate why he resented Gold Roger to begin with. Kinda sad, and it shows that behind the smile, Ace really has doubts over his existence.

The way the chapter end seems to indicate how this arc will end. Looks like Luffy is not down and out after all.

Can't wait to see what happens next. 😀

The whole chapter is like big cliffhanger. Seems that arc is gonna end soon.

I'm interested in how it would progress, would the crew come back before the last battle or is Luffy going to search for his crew.
And if he's gonna search who would help or would he go alone?

The only thing I hope is that oda knows what he want and doesn't need much more 2 week releases

Wow. Intense chapter. Whitebeard's crew is getting screwed over and Luffy is pretty much managing to destroy his lifespan. My only complaint is that the chapter wasn't longer~ I can't wait for the next one!
I wonder when the crew is going to arrive? And the arc seems to be drawing to either a conclusion or a climax.

Finally Luffy is gonna do something worthwhile since he first arrived. Ace has to be saved too.. Luffy has always been neutral when it came to the WG. If Ace were to be executed then he might end up with a vendetta on his hands. And that just isn't very Luffy-like.
Interested in what Luffy could hope to do now. I mean unless this recent shot lets him harness the power of haki or opens up a fourth gear for him, then he will still be virtually useless..

Even if the crew join the battle Zoro will still be missing and probably will need to be found.

Luffy neutral towards WG 😕 ? I thought he made Ussop shoot the WG flag, and thus declaring war to the WG.....

Agree. Also because in three panels we have a HUGE comback from the Navy Marine: Marco, Diamond and WB are gonna lose in the next chappie IMHO. Finally seeing the (almost) end to this epic battle. If it was Naruto it wouldve been dragged for double these chapters, with pointless chat and flashbacks, be sure.

Anyway, lets see what Luffy has in store for us, BUT: he is using DOPING so it doesnt count haHhahahAha XD
Think about it: first (?) doped shounen hero XD

wish it could've been longer too

awwww... too bad it's only 15 pages this time. a few more pages would've been niceeee.

the fall of WB + Marco + Jose means that Luffy's gonna be the one to finish things.. but as of now he is still not strong enough, hopefully we will see some new moves soon. the crew will probably come at the very last moment when Luffy needs help.

i can't help wondering what the next arc will be after Ace's rescued.

The fate of the whitebeard pirates seems pretty grim at the moment. And while it's nice that Luffy has the spirit to fight, I don't see him being the one to turn the tide of the battle. If anything is going to happen, my guess would be intervention by some outside party like blackbeard, shanks, or the revolutionary army. It might be nice if the other strawhats maybe showed up, but I don't really see them being a major factor in this major battle.
