I don't ever really cry. Period. Unless you count the first three times I watched Star Wars III and funerals. But I'm not much of a cry baby.
Usually, I get irritated and mad at the sad parts. "What the heck!? What sort of story is this!?" or I just get depressed and moody for about half an hour, until I swing back. Depressed/moody means it's a good story; mad means it's not.
And just for the record, I'm female.

Quote from Lagito

I only cried twice and I'll say that rather than something traaaaagic, I cry at "moving" moments...

Exactly that 😛

I was going to pick option 3 (only when I really like the series and something tragic occurs) but then I thought about it more. I have only gotten a bit teary twice or so, and it hasn't happened recently, so I chose option 4. But maybe that'll change... maybe 😛

There are times where my heart wrenches. But to the point of crying, not yet.

Like KennEH! and Rainy Days, I've felt sad when something depressing happened in a manga, but not to the point of crying.

Haven't I seen this at least 50 times here?

No, I don't cry because of stuff that is not real.
Only reality can touch me like that and even then
only death makes me cry.

4th option I guess. I haven't cried in years, so I won't start over a scene in a manga.

I cry so much... so i picked "All the time"... When something sad happens i cry, when something happy happens i cry... i was just rereading lovely complex for like the 3rd time and i was crying at the part where otani kisses her cuz its so heart warming... i know, im a wuss...

felt like putting a cry list:
suzuka ,pastel, mars, koukou debut, I"s, Yume de Aetera, many others..

yeah i cried at least like twice for each of the ones listed...
In suzuka..

i cried when he was rejected, the story about Tsuda and Asahina, chapter: Park, when Akitsuki was just dumped by Asahina, and chapter: Airport, when he was yelling "I LOVE YOU"

I chose... the first option. Haha! I cried while reading Gakuen Alice volume 8, just the other day...

For me also, it's not always that something "tragic" happens so much as something moving happens. Certain parts of Kaze Hikaru make me cry every single time I read them; I cried while reading Sket Dance a couple times as well. And I'm sure there have been other times... basically, I am a wimp, and get very emotionally attached to the characters in my favourite series. Sometimes it feels nice to just have a good cry.

That said... I really don't like when series are just full of tragedy and devastation and sadness. I just feel like my emotions are being manipulated. So I much prefer series that are on the whole lighthearted or comedic, because then the emotional moments have that much more impact.

edit: Oh, Azari02 is with me! Yay for us crybabies 😀

I almost never cry for anything. Though if I do cry, its never for reality. The last time I cryed was for the movie "The King and the Clown." Sooo touching, ah. But never for an anime/manga. They only make me excited/happy.
