I used to hate manga with this kind of arts (Candy Candy, Rose of Versailles, etc.), so I missed quite a lot of gems and just caught up to some.Have just recently stumbled upon this manga,and I do say I enjoyed it! Hopefully the translation goes well until the last volume.

I'm not sure how many of older fantasy/any other manga have been scanlated, do anyone have recs?

Also talking about the manga, can anyone recommend something similar? I have a pretty polarising opinion to my main characters, sometimes I enjoy stories with the typical main characters that I don't like, but sometimes I stop reading just because of the main characters. Tomboyish/ cross-dressing main female characters are usually in this spectrum of easy picking/dropping, but I pretty much like this one.

I'm not really proactively adding manga to my list, so maybe I've read some but not yet putting them in my lists, but for this I set my lists to public.

First ones that come to mind are Crystal Dragon and Tenma no Ketsuzoku and that's about it.

Based on the description those two seem like my style. I'll go check them, thanks.

If there are any more manga comes to mind, please do suggest more.

Gin no Valkyries is older style but only recently started getting scanslated.

also maybe-
The Queen's knight Was also pretty similar, with pretty elves and reverse harem.
Angel at war Older art style, set in the less usual setting of heaven/hell.

You could try Dragon Kishidan. It's much more complex than the description makes it seem.

Haha, the description certainly doesn't help. I'll check it though, your recs and the reviews definitely said that it's more than the description. Thanks.

@Tsubamex
Thanks for the recs. Just based on the description I would usually put Gin no Valkyries and The Queen's Knight a bit down in my to-read list, but I tried to read the first few chapters and they sparked my interest. Thanks for getting my try! Will try to finish them as two are completed already.
