Ever met up IRL with someone you met online?

A couple of times. I've met people at a con, a meetup, and a Halloween party (after I'd met the person throwing the party elsewhere), and a few times when they came into New York for something. Gave one girl a two day crash tour of the city (and met up with another girl who lives in the city), and just went for coffee with two others (one of whom I'd also met at a con). My rule is public place for a meetup, and these were all people I'd known through a forum or two and lj, and for a couple of years-and it went fine.

In real life??
Well, quite a few times, actually.... but mostly business or track days (I ride sports bikes, motocross and go-karts).... nothing social, and nothing to do with anime or manga.
Met a chick irl once after meeting on ICQ a few years ago.... Had a short fling, but it wasn't much fun....all she could talk about was fashion....yuck!.... The sex was okay, though.
That's all. I'm not really a very 'social networking' type of person anyway. I don't MySpace or FaceBook or whatever..... find it too gimmicky. I prefer forums.

I've met up with a few of my MMORPG friends before, at some public place so that my (back then) fairly young self wouldn't get kidnapped and molested or something. They were awesome, cool people. (Though one guy said he was 99 years old in-game, when he was actually like 25. But then again, we all expected that.)

In my defence, she only ate half of it, and she didn't take a bite on it (she used her fingers to tear pieces off...weird way to eat a burger).
It was delicious and filling though xD

Woot! I've met a very dear friend when I travelled across the atlantic ocean to Sacramento CA!! ..and I call that "Epic"! 😎
I'm also planning to meet up my internet lil sister from Singapore and my Taiwanese friend whenever I have the chance to go back to Asia. The flights are cheaper if I travel from Brunei.

Yes I have!
I've only met 1 person from anime/manga related forums and 2 other from myspace. What a scary place o;.
They were either all in my area, or we were going to go to the same event, (y'know, like anime-cons or band concerts, lol)
The ones i meet up with, are the ones intending to be friends tho. I've no interest in internet relationships 😐
