My first manga was Imadoki! and after 3 years of reading manga I finally gave into watching anime too (somehow I had a prejudice against it - such as I had with manga but once I read the first one I couldn't stop reading). First anime: Kuroshitsuji.

My first anime was Pokemon or Sailor Moon I believe, ages and ages ago. xD

My first manga (which I actually only started and finished in the last month) was Death Note.

I have to admit, I really haven't liked hardly any anime/manga at all because of the style, but Death Note softened me up and now I've added Shinrei Tantei Yakumo - Akai Hitomi wa Shitteiru (such a long name!!) to my list of finished and loved mangas. And now I'm looking for some more!

My first anime technically was Pokémon, but that was a long, long time ago 😀 What really got me into anime was when my friend made us all watch a few episodes of Hellsing and Ouran High School Host Club at my 16th birthday party as she was obsessed with it then lol.

My first manga I think was Absolute Boyfriend, although it may have been Naruto or Fruits Basket after watching the anime versions.

I'd say Cardcaptor Sakura and Corrector Yui, but what really started the obsession was Fullmetal Alchemist/Inuyasha. : ) good times.^_^~

this not mean I'm really old like my first anime/manga, I still a teenage girl 😛 , I watched and read it when I was a little kid 🤣

My first anime should be "Heidi". Though, of course, back then I had no idea it was an anime XD"
I suppose I was around 5. The next one should be Sailor Moon and Pokémon but I also didn't know they're anime.
Later on I saw some comics which reminded me of both Sailor Moon and Pokémon which was when I found out about Manga and Anime 😐 Anyway I think the first manga I bought was Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.

Anime: Dragon Ball. I used to watch the first half of every episode every week when I was 5 or something...I always had swimming lessons I had to go to which caused me to miss the second half >:-(

Manga: Dragon Ball/City Hunter (I actually got ahold of City Hunter when I was in primary school. I realized how not healthy that is, I remembered I even asked my parents about a swear word. Monitor what your children read, parents ) 🤢

My first anime was back home and like many others here, for me it was just a cartoon. It aired on regular TV and it was called Mazinger Z. I was very little but remember most of it. Most of all I remember how cool I thought it was 😀 .

Anime: Pokemon, while I was 6
Manga: Shaolin sisters, also around when I was 6. However, since I've recently actually got into it, I'd say Hellsing (which was okay)
