1st anime, Akira, the cut version that people watch drunk because it makes no sense whatsoever. (Nah, Im not that cool, twas probably Pokemon on the tv 😀 didn't realise it was japanese for ages though).
The first thing that really blew me away and started me buying anime was Princess Mononoke, then Cowboy Bebop (yay for not realising the £20 ebay boxsets were bootlegs...)
1st manga, the Violinist of Hameln. Got so obsessed I actually started printing them off on the work printer so I had them in book form 🙂 The scanlations got worse and worse as it went on is the problem..
the first manga I read all the way through was probably Blame. If you read it in the dark on your computer for too long you start having dreams set in that world 🙂
maan that was a strange weekend..

First anime would either be Dragon Ball or Teknoman. Used to love watching these shows back when I was a kid; maybe around age 7 or so.
First manga would be Flame of Recca, which I started reading after I finished watching the anime series.
Whew, that took a bit of brain racking to remember. Ahhh my young grasshopper anime/manga days. Had to google around to confirm the show name for Teknoman since I had only remembered the Tekno part. 😀
