My first anime was Sailor Moon, but back then I had recognized it as a cartoon as well. I was so frustrated since every time I saw it on TV, it was the same episode over and over so I don't really count it as my first anime. What I count as my first anime is Fruits Basket.

First manga would be Pita-Ten. I choose it by the cover lol.

My first anime, knowing what an anime is, Neon Genesis Evangelion.
My first manga, Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai, some months after watching the anime's second season.

The first anime that I have ever watched was code geass, yakitate japan, prince of tennis, Yamato nadeshiko and eye shield 21. I actually don't know which I've watched first, some Chanel was airing all of them.

My first ever anime was pokemon, surprisingly, as I watched it like any other cartoon. Though I have to say the first ever anime I formally watched was Pandora Hearts, when I was about ten years old.
My first manga was Fruits Basket, I remember buying the cover with Kagura because I thought it was was cute, and ended up actually reading the manga later on.

My first anime was Yu-gi-oh. I grew up watching that show then some girl officially introduced me to anime. Technically, my first anime would be Death Note.

My first manga was a bunch on one-shots, but my first actual long manga series was Fruits Basket.

I can't believe it's been so long. The memories~ 😀

I think sailor moon as a little kid but I never knew when I actually came on so I randomly saw it at times. Dbz was probably the first one I really watched. Or possibly some random movies or something.

Anime: Um... uh... something that was airing on TV at the time. Inuyasha, Pokemon, Mermaid Melody, some other random minor anime that was playing? No idea. Things like B-Daman was popular at the time. Kids. I watched almost anything and everything, except for Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball, and One Piece that is.

Manga: I believe it's either The Bride of the Water God or Ouke no Monshou (by recommendation of my mom from her high school days).

The very first manga I read was Black Sun, I liked the historical context, but felt bad for Lenard being violated so many times.
