I wanted to express my opinion about what "kind of people" post around here... All i see is people asking for some manga with boys doin boys, big breats etc etc. Is this what the modern anime/manga fan is? What's going on with having gay manga and say not have Tiger Mask translated. How about Saint Seiya, Ring ni Kakero, Akatsuki Otokojuku, all of Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's Works, Tetsuya Saruwatari's mangas, Buichi Terasawa's Cobra. Aren't there peolple who like such stuff? How about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 😕
Sorry if offended someone, it's just my opinion and i find it bizarre that people demand such stuff and posts hundreds of topics about their favourite gay character or talk about girl X's breasts.
I have nothing against gay people, i just find it hard to belive that the majority of people reads sh...y and tra..y manga!
Long live manly groups like Anonymous scanlation, Project Bite Me, Illuminati manga, Hox, GoldStarScans, Dynamic Pro, Earth's Utopia (for doing Ta-chan) and the few other (sorry i know you're there, it's just a long list)!!!

well what do you expect...the forum is mainly ruled by girls and through some genetic defect they,re all into yaoi.....so yes thats all they think about 24/7.
and guys thinking about boobs...well thats nothing new...but at least thats understandable from a rational point of view o.O

I am a scanlator myself, and all I scanlate is yaoi. Why? Because is my time, and instead of reading newspapers or watching television, I decided to dedicate my time volunteering to smth that I believe might be of interest for many people.
And you know what?
Usually, people thank scanlators for their job, and if they don't read it, they say nothing.
Just food for thought.

And you know how I started to scanlate?
One of my favourite yaoi mangas had slow releases. So it was either learn Japanese or learn Photoshop. Now the releases are much faster.
So maybe you could consider this if you want more Tiger Mask?

xD. we do keep in track with the shounen/action manga. I am a huge reader of yaoi and have read hundreds of mangas of the sorts, but i'm still keeping up with naruto, bleach, one piece, etc. and this new anime ao no exorcist.
we just have more diversity in the yaoi genre , there is nothing wrong with that. it's an interesting genre and keeps us entertained while we wait for our favorite shounen/seinen/action mangas chapters/episodes to come out^_^

As a manga fan, I read different types of genres. I read Yaoi,Yuri, lolicon, shota and hentai, for fun. Sci-fic psychological......survival horror mangas are my most fav. genres...or are they?
People have different preferences when reading mangas. Sure, sometimes I find it annoying whenever I meet teens (my cousins..or members of a local anime society I joined in 😛 ) who are obsessed with Naruto and Bleach just because they're popular among their circle of otaku friends
..or some friends who constantly rant about 'pairings' in some shoujo/shounen mangas... But, we have to respect other people's personal preferences. Just because people always discuss about yaoi..or their hentai fetishes, that doesn't mean they're really into that type of genres, this is a manga forum, it's a virtual place where people can discuss anything about manga/anime they like. They can't really discuss this openly with people in real life. That's why the internetz rule.
Sure, no surprises on the kind of topic they discuss here, but please don't make generalizations on them. Not all manga readers only think about penises, boobies and hot guys or whores when they read, there's other sweeties and rainbows in other genres too.

you know that you sound like a troll? accept the fact that there are many girls out there who like boyxboy and that there are many guys who like big breasts. just because you don´t like it doesn´t mean they are bad. we also read main stream and "normal" manga, but everyone has his fetish, you know? it´s not like we think those are bad

This site's quite a good tool to search for specific manga without needing to ask in the forum. You only need to learn how to narrow your search and then you're all set for... well, forever as long as the site runs.
My point is, many users searching for manga (myself included) have barely posted in the forums. 😃

mmm i think you are prejudiced against yaoi manga and manga with girls with big boobs.. even though i am girl i don´t like yaoi manga sorry pocono you are wrong being a girl doesn´t mean you are into yaoi and i do like guys but not doing each other xD i´ve read manga with girls with big breast that´s mainly because most shonen manga have those type of characters i won´t say all of them are good but some of them are. i mean these type of manga exist because there is people who like them and asking why people don´t read/ translate manly manga maybe is because they don´t find it good or never read it.
so before you say there are tr..y and sh..y manga you should think that there is people who think the exact same thing about manly manga
one another note i do like manly manga i blame my brothers for my manly side like hajime no ippo, gamaran, i used to like wolf guy but it became too hardcore and other shonen manga most of them from jump.
that´s it... sorry if they are some problem with ortography or redaction bear in mind that my main language it isn´t english

Just a piece of advice: Just because you like something that you think is smart/better than something else does not mean you have the qualities of the things you like. People tend to treat the things they like as accessories which define their own personality. <= this should not happen. So if you wear a diamond ring, you are not a diamond. If there are people reading manga you don't like, it doesn't mean their worth is less than yours or that you are smarter/better than them.
So if you think that "Saint Seiya, Ring ni Kakero, Akatsuki Otokojuku, all of Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's Works, Tetsuya Saruwatari's mangas, Buichi Terasawa's Cobra" are cool this does not make you automatically a cool person.
